Saw this in my recommended, and just wanted to say welcome to Shadowbringers! I had heard great things about it myself, and thought while it would surely be good, it must be overhyped. I was wrong. It is genuinely so very good and is now my personal favorite expansion (both in base version and patch content). Hope you enjoy the journey you will go on, and everything will be explained in the end.

Oh wow, for some reason I thought you were already caught up in 14 but I guess this is your first 14 content on YouTube. Yeah this trailer was wild, and it somehow managed to (intentionally) leave the player more confused if you watch it when you're supposed to than if you watched it blind without context. Master Matoya? Minfillia? And if you though Urianger was hot before when he did the face reveal, hot damn does he look good as an Astrologian!

Probably the best trailer ever made ever. I still get chills watching it. And you dont realize it now, but its playing 5D chess with you, and you wont realize until you finish 5.0 and later 5.3 and watch it again 10 million times.
He looks like Barnabas from FF16. Similar faces, hair styles, both use the power of darkness, and they both use big swords to battle.
I love the confusion.
