I have a public playlist on my channel regarding some of the past pvp incidents where people wintrade, grief, and cheated. People do report these particular people, however it is extremely difficult to force the NA/EU Square Enix Branch to do much of anything. Many have tried speaking to GMs directly or posting on twitter. God forbid you post on Square Enix forum they will ban you for whatever the moderator feels like banning you for that day.
I know for a fact that plugins get updated a few hours after patch, so the "on patch day there's noone playing" thing is definitely just people taking their time unlocking and stuff like that.
You can easily just join a few of those plugin/addon Discords and you'll see plenty of people join them with their regular ass FFXIV Discord accounts and then be in raid recruiter discords etc. as well and those have you name your Discord after your character and bam you can easily get a big ass list of people and their main chars for reporting or interviewing purposes UwU
I raided with a static that used cacpot, it was the most boring experience and I left, these same people bragged about clearing UWU using Cacbot and I was like how embarrassing.
i have a good handful dalamud plugins, the main ones i use is jobbars for more convenient rotation info and other players cooldowns, and the in-game universalis market board. i dont give a shit if i get that taken away if it means this crazy shit is gone. the integrity of core game mechanics and systems should be more important than community-driven QoL

nice. Glad you are showing how in depth these are and how easy it is. This crap killed wow and I think it will kill ff14 if left unchecked.

This makes me so depressed… Sure, these are game modes not many people play anyway… but that means those 4k in that discord really count.
