Pretty sure the dreamer is Zenos, he's been dreaming of the final days throughout Shadowbringers. My guess is he's dreaming it in to reality here on the Source.

so i realize this has probably been discussed elsewhere and has nothing to do with this video but there is something i have been wondering about xiv shards for forever. is finally fantasy xiv actually a multiverse or is it just that the residents in a fantasy game do not really have a good concept of planets and the shards are just different planets in one universe?
i am also curious if Brandon Sanderson or final fantasy xiv came up with the shard multiverse thing first. or is it like final fantasy and the dark crystal where ffix and the nu mou were clearly based on the original dark crystal movie and then the dark crystal netflix show clearly got some ideas from later ff.
I like using the second line against Fourchenault because we had the to use this same one during a debate with 2 wise ancients.
