Final Fantasy XIV G-mix – "The Final Steps of Faith" Medley

This track was commissioned by Brickfist, and OH BOY did I have a rollicking time making it. The original job of the commission was to make a medley of the tracks you hear in the “Final Steps of Faith”-Trial in Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward; where the first part (Dragonsong) was to sound mostly like the original. The second part (Freefall) was to keep the orchestration of the original, but sound more pop-y. Then, for the third part (Revenge of The Horde), I was told to “go nuts and rock like you usually do”. At first, I started off following those instructions. But then, I had a bunch of fun ideas I suggested for Brickfist, and once the suggestions were approved, I went ahead and added it in. The result is this beast that clocks in at almost 12 minutes! Filled with lots of love and nods to various dragon-related songs! Can you spot them all?
