  1. Right now I have an absolutely massive stockpile of gatherer materia(over a thousand V's of each kind, 800+ VII's of each kind, 150+ VIII's of each kind) as well as about 1300 craftsman competence materia V. This happened simply because they don't sell well on my server, so I just keep them (the rest sell fast, on my best week I made 20mil). So I would like to hear you advice on this – should I just sell all this materia now for their current prices of 800-2500 gil a piece OR wait till Endwalker for a possible increase in price?

Also, great vid! I haven't even considered the fact that all the SB mats will become worthless

  2. Jeez, I just started about 2 months ago and I'm just into Shadowbringer's. (Level 61 – 70) I've been working mostly on my main story, but I have my weaver, leathermaker, and botanist up to level 40…which brings me to crafting. All of the stuff I've been 'gathering" isn't holding it's price on the market and I'm down to 10,000 gil. 😯 !!. The stuff I can't get with gathering but need laurel leaves (gardening) are impossible to obtain as one person in my FC is hogging up all of the garden spots and I'm SO out of gil that I can't do it in my apartment. screams*, So, JUST out of the Main on level 61….I don't think I can get to the end content in time with my crafting with Chef, Botanist, Weaver, Leathermaker…then I have a white mage and a dark mage too. *sigh*. *AURG !!!! falls down exhausted Ok, so I'm a retired RN with nothing else to do, so I'm not living in my mommy's house (she is dead) but living with my hubby in a retirement heaven in Arizona. Thanks for all of your help. I really like all of your advice.

  3. As someone who wants to make a lot of money but want to enjoy the actual story content, hard to decide between rushing the msq so I can make stuff to sell and make money or take my time with the msq.

  4. Super helpful. Thanks for putting this out.

Two other suggestions that I tell people, though it may be less useful for brand new players who are pushing through things:

    1) Max out rested xp. It is not uncommon that there are parts where you may not have exactly all the xp as you go through the MSQ as soon as it comes out if you aren't also doing roulettes as well. So having a full 2.5 levels of bonus xp will help you get past these and if you want to rush a crafter/gatherer or level sage/reaper having that already built up will help you go through it faster.

    2) Take a short break right before expansion release. I go hard on expansion release, and can get burned out pretty quickly. Taking a break and not playing FFXIV right up till the minute that servers go down, helps me to get the most out of my release experience, as I get to come into release with excitement and a fresh feeling.

  5. I just wanna say how helpful your videos are for me, you word them in an easy to understand way so I know what I need to do. other channels use a lot of in game lingo I haven't learned yet so its difficult to understand. keep up the good work my guy!

  6. SO happy to see your channel grow so quickly. Your guides have been helpful to someone who has been FULL SPRINTING to get all of their crafters up to 80. Three down so far.

Took a break to level my Boninist and Miner (and also because I started with less than 500k so I've been kinda burning the candles on both ends lol).

My Miner will be 80 tomorrow, my Bot is done (and already earning their keep, I am but a humble baker).

  7. Thanks for the video, nowhere near this level of prep only started playing a month ago, and still really overwhelmed with the learning curve, but i have in that time levelled a job to 80 finished MSQ and got another to 57, started crafting using your videos, nearly there now all gatherer's 80 and crafters between 72 to 80. Gil has been an issue and i'm just holding enough to keep going, got Exarchic gear on main, phew what's next priority? I want to go into Endwalkers with enough Gil to be able to get to the end of the expansion. What should the priority be with so many logging in at once is actually levelling going to be possible? we know Square Enix have problems with server's and parts for them or am i better going for making money via gathering/crafting at the start?

Also at the start of the game noobs do not know what they need to keep or not and space is an issue perhaps an in depth video for noobs on what to keep and how to clean out or organise retainers/saddlebag/inventory and also Armour Inventory, some gear cannot be sold due to being spiritbonded etc and i wish there was a quality of life improvement here so you can manage it better. Maybe a filter so i can see easily what can be sold or exchanged for seals or can be extract materia or desynth etc.

  8. Hey man! Love your videos! Just one thing though: saying Bozja is gonna be empty isn’t correct, it is going to get FLOODED with people once Endwalker comes out as you level super fast in there 71-80 so every Reaper/Sage will be there, me included! Hope to meet you in Eureka as I’m going through that content myself too <3

  9. As someone who's started with FFXIV a few months ago, I really appreciate this video! It's super insightful and covers pretty much everything I could think of – and more! Thanks!

  10. Good video!

However, isn’t Extreme mount farming easier after the expansion release? I know after some few patches they normally increase drop rates, but even just on release, it’ll be easier to do the Extremes unsynced with higher level cap/higher ilvl.
