For me it was spiral knights, back when some interest in the game was resparked for many people.
Seeing people in front of the auction house in Haven standing around, chatting brought me right back to my afternoons and weekends after highschool when I wasn't playing other games with friends.
a similar feeling hits me when I go to limsa to check me retainers and I see the same people afking around the retainer bell that I've seen for the past 2-1/2 to almost 3 years now.
The game is so different now from what it used to be, I feel I don't belong anymore. I used to be hardcore and now I barely touch it ever since Endwalker finale. I miss the good days of old when I was a Stoneskin healer. Now…. all I see is a painter class and a new expansion that doesn't thrill me in the least. Yeah, this is definitely me. Im feeling old. Looking at the game that was was.
I swear I feel these videos we are talking about the same dude… Checks out the game, leaves the game, comeback a few months, leaves a few months, comes back to his favorite game… To eventually leave again… AND STILL HASN'T BEATEN MSQ YET 😂🤣
