The Wondrous Tales is a Journal that has Duty related objectives for you to complete. Once the quota is filled you can turn in the journal for rewards. There’s no reason to not unlock this, as you will complete most of these objectives just playing normally.

The EXP reward from the journal is always 50% of your current level, the objectives can be completed on any job and then handed in on the job you want to get exp on. Delaying until the next monday isn't a bad strategy if you're actively leveling something and want to get the most EXP out of the book without giving up a week.

It's worth mentioning she seems to hold a bit of a backlog of books, so if it's been a bit and you hand over your book if it's been nearly two weeks you may pick another one immediately.
I honestly don't know how many she holds for you, but I think it's two?
I am just stuck getting second chance points. No matter where I go all the people have done them before no newbies. Coils 1 was good because of the even but now even as healer takes an hour to get in.
