As a GW2 player, thanks for welcoming me in FFXIV, which is now my home.
This was such a wholsome video, I'm so sad for WoW players watching the game they love get destroyed bit by bit. I feel the same right now with Overwatch.

WoW was never "pretty" π Its "cartoony" style however became a staple, their distinctive mark: you see a thousand screenshots of different games and WoW's will stick out, always recognisable. Its by no means as beautiful as GW2 or FF14, or any other game really, but they stayed true to their initial style – and it worked in their favor for over a decade.
Blizz even abandoned Heroes of the Stormπ€¦
If we realize FFXIV is just much better with 3D grafics we can relate to IRL.β₯οΈπ
I played GW2 before too. And honestly, it is suppose to be a good game. Great game.
Everything is top notch other than the crafting systems are abit ambiguous.
But the biggest sin I realize from the game isβ¦.fuckin story execution.
After I play Sylvari all the way to defeating Zhaitan⦠I realize that the story executions will not be invested.
Which is fucking sad with all the potential.

Wow was my first mmo. I guess I played RuneScape for 5 minutes but that was it. I told my self Iβd stay subbed forever but around mists of pandaria is when I finally started UN subbing. Iβve lightly touched each expansion since with the exception of shadowlands.
XIV is now my favorite and I played during 1.0
Alright I'm just gonna say it.
The death of WoW is healthy for the MMO Genre as a whole. It's like fertilizer for a new garden.
Nah it won't be Endwalker that kills WoW, what will happen is when people refuse to leave FF to go back to the next WoW expansion, Blizzard will attempt to make up the costs of those missing subscriptions either by making more microtransactions or by cutting a lot more corners (probably both) which will eventually piss more people off and it will be a spiral into death. Blizzard is WoWs cause of death lol.
If Endwalkers base story lives up to the same quality that was brought in the base Shadowbringers story (which seems almost like a certainty) then the next WoW expansion ain't got a hope.
As a FFXIV player, of course I want more people try our game,
but, as a normal person, I hope people can play happily rather than feel like game playing you
Maybe you try, you don't like FFXIV, but no need to force to play WOW when you feel bad, try other MMORPG
Wow was amazing for the time , I played 15 years . That's saying alot. I played ff14 since heavenward and over time I slowly played wow less and less and 14 more and more untill it took over . I will remember wow for what it gave us over the good times. Will never forgive blizzard for what they have done to it and choosing cash shop and scummy metrics over long time players.
Classic / vanilla and TBC / Wotlk was amazing. After that it was downhill. Cata was the last time me and my friends played. Pandaria was where most of us said "F it".
WoW is gonna get pummeled on many fronts over the course of the next few months; Endwalker from FF14 and ESO's Deadlands, this month, End of Dragons from GW2 in February, New World getting very frequent updates since last month and seems to continue to keep going. Rough time for WoW, but as another commenter said, WoW's dying moments is like fertiliser to the MMO garden π€£
P.S: I'm super excited for End of Dragons, hope you'll be checking it out too! Always like to see different constructive perspectives on GW2
