  1. The most disappointing thing for me in Shadowbringers by far has to be how relic gear has been handled. It's an improvement over Stormblood because you can grind it outside of the relic zone, but at the same time, it also shows off all the weaknesses that are built into the Bozjan Southern Front, Zadnor, and all their associated areas.

The casual raid design is a close second.

  2. Asmongold made a good comparison while doing Tazavesh- Wow gives story quest like a TwitLonger while FF14 gives story quest like a Tweet. I find that while leveling in wow (i have 21 chars, 9 max lvl) you get fed so much info that you need to sit down and slowly piece it together (which lore channels do well) whereas in FF14 you just go on with a slower pace and can piece it together real time

  3. Given that there is more attention and likely to be more content creators/streamers for FF, which I know you want to see, would you consider making a video detailing what you think new creators could/should try to contribute if they are considering giving it a shot? I'd be super interested to hear your advice and perspective on how to take part in growing the community in a positive way. For example, how much of an expert on the content should you be vs going in blind?

  4. I'll be honest: FFXIV has improved my experience with older FF games because I imagine their jobs differently now. When there's a dragoon or a monk or a black mage, it's more than just an 8-bit sprite in my imagination. But no, I wouldn't expect other people to have the same experience.

  5. I feel like you take everything to the extreme and over-exaggerate/put words in the mouths of the people you make reaction content to. Just my feedback! I do enjoy your perspective though, might just be the delivery that seems overly aggressive.

  6. I think Matt was just talking in terms of the lore implementation (as per the Super Chat question). He's not necessarily saying its the best thing ever but just that its a really good bit of lore that appealed to him a lot. And Bellular is clearly quite the lore nerd himself, but he has next to no context for why that could be so good at the point he is at.
