Now don't quote me on this, but I think that when I went to this area instead of the hanging NPC there was a untargetable corpse. It was a while ago, and I have never seen the body since, actually thought it was really weird. So I don't think this guy got a happy ending.
This NPC is actually a famous NPC when Heavensward launched until it ended,you can see him in Coerthas,you could see him in the Idyllshire restoration phases and finally in the Foundation restoration phases!

If he's only there sometimes does that mean he simply despawns after a while? Or does he fall?
