Ooh, just in time! I was just thinking about what "honest" tank should I pick (after getting Raw Intuition WAR becomes a cheat, you can't change my mind) and mitigation is where I struggle the most. Panicking and pressing everything at once is only making it worse so you have no idea how grateful I am for this detailed video <3

Keeping your eyes peeled for stunable attacks and interjectable magic is good mitigation too… no mitigation like not letting the attack happen.
I’m saving this one. I just had a tank who didn’t use cds in a level 90 dungeon. I kindly asked to please use cds or to pull smaller groups and he opted for smaller. he looked so lost and I really would have loved to help him but I’m not a tank. but next time I can ask if they want advice and then link your video 👍🏼 thank you for your great videos!

Awesome guide for tanks! You should have also mentioned that throwing in a low blow to interrupt an incoming aoe can help the party melt packs faster.
Mate, had a healer drop after a boss fight because the boss did a full screen danger zone and everyone was out of position, I popped shake it off, (not sure what triggered it, but this was the last event) no one took a scratch, after the trash leading up which I yanked hall to hall no real scratches, my HP dropped which I self maintained btw, healer buggered off. A warning healers can be Finicky is good advice. Lol I loved that whole thing, because throughout a nervous as that healer might have gotten I self sustained the lot of it. Party decided to stick around, they saw the truth of it, didn’t even have to speak up, they did before I could defend everything felt fine, new healer, same pull style did fine. Same job too.
Just got to the clemency part, very well done in the evolution of your explanations. 🤗
I just hope all tank hopefuls watch this. This is very very very helpful to any new tanks learning mitigation.
