Fanfest is magical. I'm not the most social person but when you're in an environment full of people passionate about the same thing as you, you tend to be way more open about talking to strangers. Between the community, the two AMAZING concerts, and the absolute rockstar dev team this was one of the best experiences of my life. Something i will never forget.

I might have been right before or right after you guys in that photo-op spot! I have a picture with YoshiP at the same location from Day 2 around the evening.
It was a butterfly effect moment for me, too. My girlfriend and I were sitting down on the floor waiting for the Primals concert to start. We couldn't get any spots in chairs and I was bummed about it, so instead of just moping I decided to get up and stretch my legs, and that's when I stumbled on him the same way you did. If I had been sitting in a chair I would've had no reason to get up and risk losing it.
Didn't know you guys were in Tampa. I'm in Orlando! First time to vegas/fan fest myself. Didn't know you guys were there! Hopefully I'll meet you guys in the future.
It was amazing meeting you guys! This was my third fanfest and I can say it was easily my best convention experience BY FAR. I'm so glad y'all enjoyed yourselves and I'll see you in 2025 ๐
I'm so glad you two had fun I was so worried cause endwalker confusion and spoilers abound but ya'll aren't Sprout anymore and can dodge all these spoiler mechanics all on your own /wipes tear so proud.
Still kinda bummed I didn't bump into you guys (I did LITERALLY bump into Jesse over near the art carts when everyone was trying to take selfies with the Namazu in the barrel)…but I dunno what I would've said that hasn't already been said by so many others. Excited to see your journey through Endwalker and beyond! And it's funny that Kyle is so stoked on "Scream" because as soon as I heard that song in game, my first thought was "Oh man, GARRETT is going to LOVE THIS." Didn't realize it would be Kyle's cup of tea ๐

#MonorailUnreal I am still bummed I missed seeing you guys, but despite all of the hiccups this was an amazing experience, and I'm glad you didn't come home with the souvenir virus like my son did! (I paid $25 for a large mojito at one point over the weekend, so I feel the pain of the alcohol prices.)
Watching you two take the time to just talk with everyone that came to Player 1 was so wholesome. People were tired with queue after queue after queue, but they all lit up and the jovial ambiance never let up. Day 1 Meetup was worth the effort and sacrifice. Day 2 PRIMALS was just icing on the cake.
It makes me so damn happy to see you two have so much fun, and just- get to hang out with each other, I really do hope for the sake of yourselves that you get to hang out in the same space again, and thank you for all the content and entertainment.
Omg my mom pointed out that me and her are in the video twice, we didnt notice but we walked in and walked out the same time as you guys ๐ Im in the blue dress purple hair at 7:20 (behind you both also looking at everything excited) and 8:56!! My mom is wearing a similar light blue shirt with a snarky comment about healing. Im so glad I got to meet you guys! โค
