  1. If it hasn't been pointed out before, once you reach a certain point in both the main story and the Grand Company you chose as part of that, you're given the option to purchase apartments in one of the housing wards (this might not be available in the trial version, but all of the prerequisites are), which will give you access to the editor used in housing. It's limited to inside furnishings only, and the apartments are smaller, but otherwise it's the same tool.

Otherwise the housing plots can be…difficult to acquire. It's one of the big pain points that the developers have repeatedly come back to to try to address, but there are some underlying issues with the game's code that makes it hard to fix. If you can get a housing plot though, they're quite fun to decorate.

  2. I'm 4k hours into this game and did almost all content and do high level raiding, I have no idea why I watched this whole video but it felt very cozy and nice to watch. It was a very good video for new player instrested in this game. Good job! 😀

  3. Guildhests are pratically practice fights. Their purpose is learn you basics of party play. To any new players, i would strongly suggest Hall of Novices(what you do at 23:10) when you get to lvl15 and you open your first dungeon. You learn basic mechanics, how you should play your role in party and as bonus, you'll get pretty good equip thats better than moreless anything until lvl24 or so. Certainly worth doing.

  4. Love the game but biggest disappointment is you cant get a house. Its a real tease the system is broken. You would think every account would have one house plot reserved no matter what. That's not the case. When a house plot becomes available every one is there to bid for it. Its a nightmare. Good luck if your successful.

  5. FF14 community is very friendly I would say 80% to 90% aren't toxic and I've been playing since 2.0 ARR launch. Past 2 months there has been a huge increase of new players and there is a mentor / sprouts channel where veterans will help you with questions or help with content if they are willing

  6. Now when I checked stuff for Final Fantasy 14 they really put Hearts into the game and DLCs
    They have Fan Service
    They got the music
They got a s*** ton of Mechanics
    They got Story
    They got Characters
    They got Plot
    They even have the gameplay

The game is amazing it's awesome and this game was made by Square Enix with Hearts in hand as that also makes a game good let your inspiration take it and let your mind also lend in to help you out as there are multiple Series that had love into it

  8. I know this is old, but just in case you still don't know. Choosing a clan in some instances does actually change a few things visually for your character. For example. A hure Midlander will always have softer features while a highlander will generally have more masculine features.

  10. Welcome!

There is a cash shop called Mogstation, but there are a few things you'd be glad to hear:

    1) Most of the items are optional cosmetic items such as furniture and outfits. Many of them are store-only, but they do not give an unfair advantage or any pay-to-win things. You might find a neat outfit that gives you an EXP gain boost but that's about it. Many of the songs, outfits, furniture, mounts and minions found here were also free in-game rewards for seasonal events in the past, so if you missed a seasonal event and still want to have a cherry blossom tree for your house, or a Christmas tree for your apartment, or a witch's broom mount, you can buy it.

    2) There are level boosts and story skips. However, getting a story skip is just harming your experience. I'd consider it if you have already done the content but would like to make another character in a separate data center. Also the level boosts do not get you to max level, just to 10 levels below. They do give you some good gear if you fancy doing that, but since you don't get to max level you also don't get the best gear.

  11. I know I'm late to commenting, but if ever you want to know how jobs work, look up Wesk Alber. His Job Guides go through the abilities by level, even teaches rotations to help you get a feel for the combat flow.
