  1. There’s also the starting area when you enter the Tempest. There’s these leeches that you can fish and guide into these squid things that eats them. You will still gain the exp for the death of the leeches and you can feed up to at least 2 leeches before killing the squid. It’s such a good spot I used it for my level 73-80 grinding and helped level another Blue Mage from level 20 to level 60 within a half hour.

  2. I found the fastest way to level my friend and I up was both of us as blue mage, and we simultaneously cast Missile on a mob. It has a chance to proc for both of us, and if it does it's an instant kill. If not, cast missile again, and if it's still alive use spells like shock strike and choco meteor to finish it off. This leveled both of us up from 70 to 80 faster than if we had taken turns powerleveling each other as one 90 job and one blu.

  3. The way I did it was feeding deep-sea leeches to the clionids in the northern part of the tempest (around the entrance to the zone). Each tagged leech gave about 150k to 200 with bonuses. Took me about 30-40 minutes to solo 70-80 that way.

  4. One worthy improvement to this is good old Sleep. Even against mobs dramatically over your level it has a very high hit rate, and using it counts as tagging the mob as far as xp goes. But the second your ally hits it with any damage they get the aggro. This makes it a little safer, saving you the occasional time of your ally swapping jobs to rez you.

  5. The sand dunes outside ondo cups are extremely good solo when you hit 73. They are all in a line and you can easily chain all of them with little issue if you have no help.

  6. Step 1: do this when everyone is doing it or Step 2: just dont. I will avoid the grind of leveling with help of 1 friend if I do this "out of main season", but will have zero useful skills… I did the same for level 70. Still dont have majority of the skills, because getting the skills is also a GRIND. To begin, you need people to fill a pf which is easier for 4 man content but for anything else its a pain. I just gave up. It became super boring and in some cases disheartening because people throw you out of parties if you dont have certain skills… meh.

  7. If you don't have a frend. Freeze via chimera and vibrat to kill, go in a dungeon solo (unsynchronized) and leave, CD will be reset.

In fary Land there is a small cave, there are a ton on enemy's you can pull and kill, stay around 2 level of you own to get a bonus. It took me 1 1/2 to get from 70-80 solo.

  8. Don't have friends, no worries, get mimicry for added survivability with tank mimicry or healer mimicry and pom cure, next might guard,

Now go tempest and go to the North near where you first enter, find the leech in this area, slap them with anything you want and immediately run towards the other mobs in this area, Clionid, they will eat the leech and you will get kill credit, feed 2 leech per Clionid ideally if there not alot of people there you can loop the area and shoot through the levels
