This minion will not drop for me. True depair.
I’m coming up on at least three or four dozen runs of Dead Ends and I’ve only seen this drop about 4 times. I must have the birb though so the runs will continue until the rng improves.

THANK YOU for holding off due to spoilers so many other people don't do that! The starbird is a gorgeous minon I love it! i got super lucky with a drop as the party who I ran with all had it! and yeah when someone pointed the art out to me I laughed so hard XD
Last night it dropped, and it was my friend who got it, despite my comment of me being the collector. I was so sad, but he just said that he needed the money… then I told him that it can't be sold, that if he's not a collector then it's worthless to him. He just said "Oh…" and ……. I spend the rest of the evening in sorrow and despair….
I want to make sure… We can get it with avatar right?

I was lucky enough to get her the very first run, and got only 1 ring of usable gear out of ALL of the msq dungeons as I progressed, as well as no other minions, so she was pretty much my only real item reward that wasn't a quest reward the whole playthrough. With the other comments, I'm going to say that was a very favorable deal. I didn't even know she was a thing, so that made me incredibly happy to get, and I refuse to switch her out anytime soon.
As soon as I learned about this minion, I went straight to the dungeon and started farming it with Trusts. I don't even know how many times I farmed that place, but I finally got it and it's my new traveling companion; as someone else have mentioned, I imagine that Meteoin is with me as well ^^
My husband and I have been running a lot of the old content extremes to get Mount drops or the spells for his blue mage. So yes I can understand running 70 trials not dungeons to get the thing you want. They seem so stingy on dropping the stuff you want.
Damn I got lucky lol got this on my first dungeon run with the MSQ lol. Thought it was a guaranteed drop for everyone XD

This minion makes for great gpose opportunities, to the point where I've half a mind to make a forum thread about being able to place minions like we do pets like carbuncle because as niche as that QoL change would be it would've saved me 20 minutes of arguing with the randomly wandering minion, her animations, the placement of my own character, the background, etc.
The finished product of her landing on my hand was worth it, as was the 40 odd runs I needed to do to get her.
It also taught me that Alphinaud will wipe pulls and bosses that Urianger and WHM!G'raha can handle just fine because the ai for his SGE is all sorts of jank. But Urianger has gravity so once I realized he was aoe-ing I stopped using others to heal lol.
Took me about 200 runs in trust and normal duty and finally pulled it in normal duty and rolled highest
I actually wondered when this one was going to show up and thought that maybe the RNG wasn't in your favor. I ran Dead Ends about 100+ times. The three times I lost to other players, and I finally won it when my friends ran with me so it was guaranteed to me. RNG was indeed rough this time around.
I've concluded that the FF14 community has a thing for genocidal characters.
It only took me about 10-12 runs with trusts to get this minion. Been having less luck with some of the other ones though…
MY STAR BABY! I LOVE HER. I'VE HAD HER SINCE THE FIRST WEEK 😀 !!!!! 22 with people runs, and 9 trusts, and on the 9th trust, I got the the bird. I ONLY saw the bird ONE TIME in all my runs with people. :/

I got it on first run with trust. I don't relish being this guy, honestly, but I so rarely am this lucky that I just have to shout it from the rooftops.
I tried really hard to get it but in 50 runs, i didn't see it even drop a single time so i probably give up for now

Dropped on my first run and I lost the roll. 😔
Been grinding the dead ends with trust, no luck
Did the duty roulette expert, got in the dead ends, minion dropped first run, rolled an 86, got a minion lol
dungeon mount and minion are so rare never once seen magitek reaper drop once and ive seen the hippo drop once and salt and pepper drop once so im not going to even bother trying to grind for it
