I'm assuming it'll be the 6.58 that will be for unlocking the weekly locked stuff (like with SHB). This one might just be for the Xbox thing and maybe add any files for upcoming ingame events, like the crossover.

I personally expect we'll get a v6.58 before the expansion launches, but looking at past expansions, this could be the final update of Endwalker!
Fun thing I've noted is that vX.57 is the only time we get a 7 in the minor versioning of the game (the only exception was v3.07). Most major patches either go from vX.X5 to vX.X6, or (more commonly) skip from vX.X5 to vX.X8, but every vX.5 patch has gotten a vX.57 patch.
CBU3 is very consistent with its versioning!

There’s a 3rd part tool that makes duty recorder record everything. I find it useful for reviewing my savage fights now that I start doing that this past month.

for someone who makes a living reviewing ffxiv updates, you are woefully uninformed. Checked old updates from previous expansions to see what is being released gameplay wise in current ones. it is ALWAYS the same.

If they unlocked the weekly restriction on coins does that mean they would lift the cap on Comedy tomes too, or is that wishful thinking? Just want to gear up all classes. Ty for the info.

Meh this is always annoying for me because when it's down for maintenance is when I'm home from work and my only time to log on. Do we get time back for things like this because when it happens I technically miss a day's play.
I can't belive a video game would update on a Tuesday. They have never done this before and I have no way to plan around this, why would they do this to ME?!
They will probably be adding the data for FF16 cross over as well as the rest of holiday events. Yoshi P also stated it was in April for FF16 cross over. So I don't see 6.58 coming till May or even June.
If they follow historical trends, this patch will raise the weekly cap tomes from 450 to 900. The 6.58 patch which happens one month from tuesday should be where they increase the caps on the alliance raids and other raids.
