  1. Honestly at this point. I don't care for the gear as much. I'm looking forward to seeing who the bosses are and what mechanics there gonna have. As well as the theme for Pandemonium..oh and the savage version of those bosses to.

  2. Never done savage yet. What is usually learning curve clear for them. I heard some parties wipe 40 plus times before they clear savage fight for first time. Yea I did all normal and few extreme trials so far. Unlocked all savages even arr but yeah one day will get to them

I am completely new to this game only 2 months been playing for and 2 weeks. Finished ew msq 4 days ago. Was awesome wild journey this game.

  3. The only thing I wish they change is not to lock out the previous raid roll is a later stage is completed first. Players should be free to complete raids in any order. Also to lock out roll attempts seems counter intuitive and will give birth to selective PF.

Ultimately savage loot rules should be simlar to normal.

  4. 6:02 The rule where if you beat a later boss (out of sequence) locking you out of loot from earlier floors is inaccurate- simply entering the later boss's arena is enough to lock your loot from earlier floors, regardless of whether you actually beat it or not (a warning will pop up if you try).

  5. I had really hoped that they would have removed all these stupid tokens and just have it drop the gear itself. Or to replace it with the coffers that drop the loot for your job once you open it. Right out of the gate i dont understand what throttling the loot does for ff14? Its the Normal raid, what does it matter?! And second now there are two new jobs. The main reason i hate this is because of having to hold on to all these stupid tokens. UGH whatever does not matter.

  6. So the 6.0 patch notes stated that "Players can no longer cast lots on coffers containing multiple gear pieces if they contain a unique item the player already possesses. However, it is still possible to cast lots on coffers such as weapon coffers, whose contents differ according to the player's current class or job when it is opened."

Does that mean we can't collect gear coffers for our alt jobs during savage?

  7. I think it's unnecessary to loot lock normal mode raid. Since the gear will no longer be BiS after two weeks might as well just let us farm indefinitely to catch up for savage mode.

  8. May tackle Savage for the first time here, but I'm wondering, does the introduction of the raids have any effect on activity for the EX Trials in PF? and how big is the difficulty jump from Normal to Savage?

  9. I have some friends migrating over to FF, so I'm going to start raiding for the first time! Very excited!
I clicked on this video to get an understanding of how exactly the loot system is going to work for us.

I didn't understand a single thing that was said.

Guess I'll figure it out as I go lol.

  10. Nice hair cut! Should make you more Aerodynamic in the upcoming raids!!! I need to do the same XD too many months grinding for endwalker and then obsessively playing endwalker and my hair has grown out too much.

  11. I wonder if it's possible for a static to always pass on everything (normal mode) except for example, only go for the chassis tokens, or if passing on everything will make you lose your chance for loot this week

  12. If crated gear is going to be 580 whats the point of doing Normal? Other than doing mechanics and doing the boss but if its gear you're after whats the point.

  13. I feel like you should make a video briefly explaining ultimates as they are released, since it has been 2 years since the last one and people are probably used to the way UCOB and UWU work, gearing and expectation wise. (Inclusing the fact that they, too, are loot locked for the week)

  14. This video just solidified why I'm a casual player these days. That savage gear grind is an absolutely massive effort, not even close to being worth it for me. Hats off to the people who can stick with a static for an entire raid tier and not get bored after week 2. Seriously, that's some dedication!

  15. To anyone who might find this confusing, don't freak out. Just try it out when the raid drops. It's very intuitive once you see it in action. Basically bosses just drop tokens that you then turn in for gear
