The issue for me in FFXIV are that I always struggle to find my main job each tier… I like them all, but early on I basicly have too choose. /sad
My hope for Endwalker as a healer (whm/ast) main is that Ast gets its own Misery. Doesnt have to be as powerful but Im thinking like a 450~600 potency aoe with no dropoff on multiple targets would be great. It could have a 2 minute cd so its always ready for divination. I just want Ast to have more damage options than Malefic in Endwalker. We'll call it Nova bc star aesthetic.
Picking my “main” is literally the hardest part of this… my head, my heart and my Epeen all want to main something different!

example of a trend throughout of the video, 9:01 naming 2 abilities without saying anything about what those do, followed by yeah its badass. to me this seems like a video aimed for people who already follow you and know the game and will watch it while drinking coffee to pass time. as someone looking this from actual new player perspective i really didnt get anything out of this besides seeing some class animations.

Even though ive been playing for around 3 weeks and have a few classes/jobs started, this guide was so good! Hope this gets traffic cause its genuinely useful

Idk what the beginner classes become like lancer, archer, murader etc
quick side note, you can just right click the dummy hp bar and click "reset dummy enmity" to reset it…
So far DrK is the most fun for me. I will suffer for white mages 🤘🏽

You jumping around as a PLD gave me a headache just from watching
One thing I wanna suggest for new players too is, if you're the type that loves to be the last man standing in trials and raids and pulling the win out for the party, I highly suggest Paladin or Red Mage. The amount of times playing as or with these jobs only to have the rest of the party wipe and they clutch the win on their own while the chat goes wild, is insane. Literally just happened in a trial I did where the Paladin solo'd the last 3% and got us the win. Paladin can hela themselves and stop loads of damage and Red Mage can save the raid by instant rezzing tanks and off healing if they need, they can instant rez the healers who can then LB3 and raise the entire party, a good Red Mage can swing a run so hard it's insane when it happens.
Cringe overload
Most useless guide i can imagine. pal – tanking, war/gun/dar – tanking with dmg, wm – heal, sch – shield, ast – both, all dd classes – do dmg. Thats all. Oh and yea, they all №1 im your opinion all best all do tons of dmg all helpful and etc. 0 information. Its like you just got account from your elder brother with all classes unlocked at highest lvl. You can do better.
