Oh wait I see Destruction Bomb there on the video. To be honest he is very very good and does callouts for DSR on some static groups i seen on Aether+Primal and helped with clears.

I’m an NA player and I ABSOLUTELY HATE it here lmao. I want to have macros and such just saying im D1 or I’m D2. It’s so free, and saves us like 10+ mins. I have 16 markers just for P8 sometimes, and it’s driving me insane!

Yep, that's NA for you. Get a static, PF on NA can be… special.
While I agree that some of the setup makers are redundant, I would like to give a defense for the p2 triangle markers and wb2 markers.
NA does markers for dividing into light parties, and the triangle markers are perfect for that job. While just a 1 and 2 marker would suffice, it shouldn't take any longer to get to your triangle spot.
As for static wb2, it's one of two strats that are used. You yourself were surprised that aether doesn't do 5n1s. Doing the markers clues people in that this is the strat used. If spending 10 seconds at the start of the instance saves a 13 minute p6 run, even 1 in 100 instances, it's worth it.
Nobody should be manually placing setup markers though. We have 30 marker slots. If there is no problems setup should take a minute at most.
Edit: Also, a lot of the markers are really nice when you're learning. You might has to swap between g1 and g2 and visually confirming your position in various mechs is really nice.

my god i remember my first time savage raiding in NA after transferring from EU. it was like having a bomb dinner at a 5 star restaurant then heading outside right after to eat straight out of a trash can
