  1. First thing I want to do is unlock Reaper and my home city is ul dah. So I think the best option would be to select world visit from character selection to be automatically put in ul dah in the emptiest server, especially since I'm from balmung it would be impossible to log in to ul dah from there. Am I right about this?

  2. Is there going to be grade 9 materia? I haven’t seen anything about them announcing it, all I saw was the stats of the materia we currently have are being reduced due to stat changes?

Wasn’t to sure if they were gonna add a higher level of materia due to stat squishing.

  3. Dunno if its adressed on the video, but should I use my fantasia before the maintenance period start? So I can log in straight to the character creation screen. If any of you guys know whats best, please let me know!

  4. I don't know how true it is, but I have heard that if you're trying to log into a congested area, it will kick you back to the character select screen. So people are suggesting to log off in the Inn to make sure you're able to get into the game and not have to fight the queue boss due to congestion over and over. I could be wrong though, but I'm gonna play it safe. 🙂

  5. Would it be a safe bet to pop a fantasia before EW hits and let it sit on my character so I can race change to male Viera and then hop in queue? Gonna take a wild stab here and say the queue will be bonkers.

  6. The only reason I’d recommend people log out in a housing area or inn room is because of the off chance that a zone might need to go into emergency maintenance, which has happened before. I assume if you logged out in that area that you can’t login until the problem is fixed. Super rare chance of that happening but uh, you know.

  7. I'd recommend not logging out in an inn room. More people all in an inn room at once means more instances the servers have to spin up when they all log on, which could lead to some effects at a large scale. I logged off in a low-pop field area.
