  1. One thing I noticed is a dip in frame-rate when I entered Eulmore. I've set the performance on the settings that comes recommended. I didn't have this dip in frame-rate when I was using the PS4 Pro settings in the PS4 version. It's a bit disappointing considering how the graphics are barely noticeably better/sharper. Setting the game performance to the highest resolution was unplayable due to the frame-rate being around 30fps. Hopefully they will address these small issues in the finalized PS5 client.

  2. The load time's way quicker now but you'll notice more pop-in. But that's because they made further objects load once you're in the zone to achieve that.

I'll take the fast load time over not having pop-in any day though lol

  3. Did Ruri make a beginner guide video to this game? I’m intrigued but I look at all those icons on screen and all this stuff going on and end up thinking I’ll just never grasp it.

  4. I'm enjoying the PS5 'upgrade' for the most part, but I'm getting a fair amount framerate dips in various zones which is really jarring (I'm playing in 1440p mode). I really hope it's just an optimisation issue that will be fixed in the full release because the PS4 version runs flawlessly on PS5 no matter how many players are in an instance. I got to the Bozjan stuff yesterday and it's pretty choppy, sadly.

  5. I would happily try it… BUT i've made the mistake of trying the game out back on ps3 (when the trial was time limited) and i'm not allowed to sign up for a free trial. sorry but i don't really feel like paying a subscription to a mmo just to check if it feels good to play all those years later

  6. Got a sony x900h which comes with a feature to smooth frame rates and is 120hz so I always play games in best graphics modes then the smooth feature on the tv makes the game 60fps. Just saying with a better tv you can already play the game 4k 60fps.
Edit: I also dont get any of the frame drops you were taking about in any area of the game.

  7. Is this the kind of MMO a WoW and SWTOR player could get into? All the abilities and transitioning to a controller seems brutal. Also, I am a solo player. This seems like a friend requirement game.

  8. wow, this version actually looks competent. ive always played ffxiv on pc with a 1440p 144hz monitor. this actually looks fantastic. but i love the idea of slumping down into a couch and playing on a 4k tv. now if Sony would only allow me to actually buy their new console…. theres no way im playing this on the garbage ps4
