Today in this video i talk about unwritten or unspoken rules, just stuff that no one talks about but still everyone somehow does.

mods are the best
Easier way to get around people being in the way of you interacting with things. Hold the X key on your keyboard and then interact with the things.
I'll risk sounding like an asshole here, but I disagree with the whole treating the tank like a king and babying them, unless it's a sprout. They're not putting in more effort playing their job than the dps or the healer, you just pull mobs and rotate mits. Obviously it's nicer to let them pull but if you have several classes at 90 and still not using sprint and do single pulls then not everyone's gonna wait for you. Plus if the dps pulls it's gonna fall on the healer to deal with, not the tank
I just only really kinda disagree with the tank pulling one. Obviously if you're new and you wanna get used to it, that's okay. But later on in the game it's a non-issue having the dps pull more for you, makes the dungeons much quicker.
great help ty
Holding X (on an English QWERTY keyboard) if you have standard key binds will let you select an NPC or other objects rather than players who might be in the way. It also removes character nameplates for as long as it is held down if you have them turned on. Yes, it would be nice if nobody stood on them, but this helps with the problem and it's nice for when there's a crowd around the NPC.
If someone is bothering you, don't engage with them or try to get back at them. As far as the Game Masters are concerned, that's just as bad as harassing someone in the first place. It will get you in trouble if they decide to report you. Just ignore them, block them, and then report them and they'll be the only ones to get in trouble.
Tanks, don't be afraid to let DPS or healers die if they are pulling ahead of you. They will learn or leave
"Always bow after a duel" especially if you won agaisnt a random player.
As a new player playing tank, the veterans should just allow us to enjoy the game, wall to wall isn’t fun at all. I could get that you probably don’t care about immersion since you’ve already completed the content but some of do and some of us do. And there’s achievements for exploring dungeons, stop trying to skip rooms and chests and bypass mobs.
always taunt Real money traders. and report those clowns. If you do, Yoshi-p may grant you a wish.
Honestly, pulling while someone is still watching a cutscene should be a reportable offense.
Also, pulling ahead of the tank is fine. I don't mind, but whoever pulled is on their own until they bring the mobs to me. It can actually be quite helpful if dps helps corralling mobs into the tanks AoEs. But I have to admit it's very tempting to go slow and let nature take it's course when I get a mentor healer stuck in 'gotta go fast' mode.
When you get a party that is just on the same wave length, you move as one, there is no slack, no slow parts, you just pull and destroy and pull and destroy, that is one of the best feelings. But it's the opposite when it feels like one player is trying to win a race and you're just getting dragged after them cleaning up messes along the way. A slow party can clear content faster than a hurried party if they are coordinated.
Pulling ahead of tank is fine if it mean we clear dungeon faster. We should play as a team, think as a team. Don't let your own ego control you. If the team want to go faster, then we go faster. If the team need to slowdown, we will slowdown. Think of it like RTS game.
How do you get elephant mount?
I Will Tank or let the Tank pull at their pace. If a DPS runs ahead and pulls while I got a stack already, Sorry Bud you're dying.
I'm still a sprout and do play Warrior a lot but I always took DPS and Healers cutting ahead and pulling as just instructions from my betters telling me to be more aggressive and pull more. I don't agree with people saying to let them die. Even if they were being rude, just not doing my job at all and wasteing time for the two uninvolved party members seems way worse. People pulling during a cut scene has genuinely disappointed me though. A few bosses I just barely got to experience any of on my first run because of that.
Sorry no, YPYT is against ToS and everyone is allowed to pull, it's not the tanks job, it literally takes 1 button to overtake enmity with tank stance
These are not unwritten rules, these are personal preferences.
