The Reality is something I've been warning my fellow WoL/D's about since Fanfest lol, but it truly is an experience being there on launch of an expansion! You can feel the excitement in the air of Eorzea on launch! Regardless of que times, I'm so HYPED to continue my journey into Endwalker!
Just play at Midnight and dont stop playing…simple
this is why you wake up about 2h b4 and spam log in til it lets you, 2 expacs now that has worked and got a ques less then 10
I can't wait to wait in que this is going to be sick
I´m an optimist so….a full world means a huge community? I guess? Let me in already.
>New jobs!
>doesn't show summoner
objectively wrong
(/s)
I laughed. Through my nose. Good god.
yeah and also dont forget not just servers will have ques… but so too will instanced duties an instanced zones o_o… gunna be a long bumpy road to get to the end of main story lol expect lots of lag an a potential Ddos attack on servers… an if you are d/c'd pray too rngesus you weren't bumped all the way back at 4k in line you'll be waiting an hour an a half tops to trying to get back in..
I wonder if there is a way to use the server visiting system to play on a low population world 🌎 on launch day
The log in queues are just to warm you up for the DPS queues.
I mean sure they are going to be long, but I weathered WoW Classic queues so this should be a piece of cake.
Having never partaken in an FF14 launch, but having partaken in WoW launches many times, I have some expectations that may match reality. However, does FF14 do live launches like WoW? As in, you can be logged in and the game live updates the expansion to active? Or do they shut down the servers to apply the new content and then everyone has to log in at once when they come available again? Because the former is how WoW does it these days, and it's far more successful.
Consider I’m on cactuar and last time I play during shadow bringer launch that was already overwhelming. This time it’s gonna be 200% more people trying to play I bet.
This world is currently full
Players in queue -17470
Hold a thought for the people on the trial. Those playing it as if the game is free to play are not getting in at all for a month.
very very very accurate lmao
The Shadowbringers launch wasn't like that though…
This is why I think it is foolish to take time off for MMO release days! It's always a cacophony of Login queues and DDoS attacks because people seem to get jealous when someone is having a good time and they are not! Temper your expectations people! Disappointment hurts less! 😉
what do you mean job classes? xD they're just jobs now
I’ve readied myself for storm blood again, you always hear of Rabaun savage but his son pippin extreme was right behind him. Also I doubt all the demons you see will be there by end of the MSQ like the sin eaters in shadowbringers.
I remember this happening some months ago the queues were so long and had to wait for like forever!
I heard you should go somewhere before logging out were less people are going to be
To be fair, SE have not spared no penny on server infrastructure and performance this time around. They've mentioned sharding and stuff like that.
All its missing is a 9k error, or a dx11 error lol
Once I log in I’m not logging out till I drop from sleep deprivation.
when the fear becomes reality #RipAmaurotPeople
I've never been around for a launch. But I was around for WOW Shadowlands launch on A52 which basically broke for 2 days. Soo if its better then that… we're good.
Kehk, I work full degen hours so I play when everyone is at school/work
Dont forget about running old content as fast as possible for the Sage/Reaper mains
The second half is exactly what we expect.
As long as we don't get another Raubaun Ex, I will be okay with anything.
The Shadowbringers release was leaps and bounds better then Stormblood.
We get all of these things
I'd rather wait in FF queue for 10 hours than play WoW for 5 minutes.
