Happy New Year Terry!! great cover as always. While the area in the game was a little gloomy and dark where hope is hard to grasp, this cover sounds so bright. makes me happy and lifts my spirits listening to it.
where the game you felt "you gotta do this, even if it's hard and you're tired. your friends did all this so you can keep moving, you HAVE to do this". this cover makes me think of "you got this, with the support you've received, you got this!". the perspective of being cornered in the game, vs this one where it felt more positive from your POV. really interesting view tbh!

I’d liked to see more 2s, 4s, and 6s to fill in right hand. I understand the original song is clear and clean, but the multiple instruments and pads on synth fill in. Whereas with a single instrument, you don’t get the double ups in the same registry of sound. Therefore, filling out the chords in the right hand with some color or internal gentle walks would go a long way on this one. It felt too empty, which is not normal for your songs.
