This video took me days to figure out how to render because Adobe Premiere was giving me a bunch of issues so apologies if any effects look choppy.
Thanks for MrHappy, Spofie, Larryzaur and Frosty for letting me use some of their footage! You can check them out in the links below 😀
This video is my thoughts on the Sage job going into Endwalker, these changes are tentative and are subject to change, especially potencies so keep that in mind. We’ll have an updated video after the release of Endwalker when we have more hands on with the job.

So what does everyone think the healing comp for raiding is gonna be?
Waiting for that first Sage I see with a macro "Pneuma Pneuma Yay"….
So hyped the video is out let’s gooooooooooo
Fey union guage is all lost after a death. Something that soteria doesn't have to deal with
Great video.
This is a bit late tbh, there’s much better videos and deeper analysis on videos that came out on the same day or the day after the embargo lifted. Don’t really see the point to this. It’s basically a copy and paste of other videos.
That's a soft "G" in Excogitation, by the way. I pronounced it your way at first, too. It's another word for "to plan" or "to devise." For Nature's Minne, there's an "eh" sound at the end due to its roots in High German.
The White Mage of barrier healers is all I needed to hear.
Momo is THE healing resource I always look for. I can't wait for your thoughts, guides and comparisons when Endwalker launches!
I have to say that from everything I’ve seen, the Sage is almost identical to Scholar. So to hear you say it has a similar play style to white mage really tripped me up here
In EW my team will be WAR/PLD SCH/SGE BRD/MNK
Let me tell you we're gonna do so nasty critlo deploy there,
if I havn't forgotten anything, we have 20%(war) 20%(brd) 20%(SGE) 10+10+20(sch) +10(mnk) so a grand total of 110% more healing received on the war…
if i'm right the bonuses are multiplicative so 129% more heal… then we add the crit 244% more heal….
I'm pretty sure we'll at least troll with a boosted WAR shield and PLD veil…
i honestly don't understand what yoshi-p meant when he said healers who want a more involved dps gameplay should look towards sage. it looks virtually the same as white mage for single-targets, which is what the majority of raid content will be

your videos have been increasing exponentially in quality and info myomyo! proud to see you growing even more 🙂 For sure will study this a lot to do pewpewpew in the raids.
I would love if pepsis gave a stack of addersting… would sure help alleviate the issue with the mobility
Part of me really wishes Toxicon potency was doubled making the barrier being popped net neutral in DPS… then again that would be pretty ridiculous if it worked that way being able to toss out big barrier heals without losing any DPS for it, and having the extra benefit of being instantcast making it very strong and really in certain situations making it a DPS gain if movement is involved.
I'm sure SE will do their due diligence to balance the jobs either at release or, more likely, right before the first Savage Raid encounter. The biggest thing that stood out to me about Sage which I'm hoping that they fix by release is that Haima and Panhaima have the same potency for some reason. I personally feel like Haima's potency should be increased slightly to say 200 potency per shield and that Panhaima should stay as it is. This would bring it more in line with how other shield potency differences work. Otherwise, I'm REALLY looking forward to Sage as I'll be spending my first hours in Endwalker leveling it up so that I can take it and Summoner through the MSQ together.
Sage looks really good. People will spend too much time going "oh but the meta comp" but I'd rather have a stellar WHM and SGE combo, than AST and SCH who aren't that great at it. Especially in this game, it doesn't take long to find WHM and SCH in top end speed clears.
Sage just looks like a ton of fun, but their personal damage potential is really high as well. A good Sage might never have to stop hitting DPS, and even then their GCD barriers will be instant cast
Wouldn’t Kardia be more like ASTs synastry? Except instead of the target being healed when you heal someone else, the target gets healed when you damage someone else
My main has been noct AST going on for 6 years now. Now that square has given the middle finger to us Noct ASTs, I am looking at Sage as a new main. Thanks for the analysis.
funny enough toxicon is lv 82 so its disabled in tea lol
I’m excited for this healer and for your breakdown, Momo 😉
Thanks for the break-down! I wish I would understand SCH and SGE more. My co-healer is staying AST in EW so I kinda have to start looking at how shield healers work tho I feel I will struggle a lot. They feel and look complex
I was disappointed to learn that your LL streams weren’t about healing during living liquid. Fortunately you’ve won me over with this amazing overview of the Sage’s kit. Outstanding work homie.
What is your opinion on Icarus? Useful tool to cut down on movement time or barely useful at all?
At first I was looking forward to sage, but it's kit looks wonky the more I look into it. The lack of mobility and mp regeneration really worry me for its playability.
The whole "heal by doing damage" sounds great in theory until you compare it to sch who gets passive healing no matter what you're doing, damage or otherwise.
So Eukrasia is basically Dark Arts?
Do you know for sure if Zoe applies to Pneuma like you said? The clip you posted didn't show Zoe on cooldown, and an argument could be made either way. It sounds like no Media Tour people tested it since I couldn't get an answer in the AMA thread either.
