  1. Aren't what we are watching here, is essentially what happened on the 13th but in favor of Darkness. That's terrifying. Voidsent and Sin Eaters are essentially the same, just one born of darkness the other light. I only wonder what they originally intended for this scene before toning it down. I know the sheer terror in visualization they can come up with in Japan (Junji Ito for example). Oh it would have been terrifying.

  2. For me the part that screwed with me the most is that right after this as she's flying off she looks over and says a mangled "I'm sorry, Alisea"
And I was just all "WTF!? She's still aware of herself? Fuck that's brutal"

  3. I remember going through Shadowbrings day 1 of early access. When I got to Amarang, the shout chat was filled with people going "Omg!" and "WTF?!?". Then I got to this scene and added in my own "OMG!" to shout chat.

  4. "Welcome to Shadowbringers. Here at Square-Enix we like to remind our customers that we did make Parasite Eve, a body horror RPG. Because people forget. And we must. Never. Forget."

  5. It’s odd how weird and possessive the ff community is. Especially when this is just typical anime stuff. I feel like a lot of FF players don’t have much going on in their lives outside of this

  6. Remember, this is the censored part too.
They had the actual transformation and more screaming occurring in the real thing, before it got shot down by the rating system.

  7. I remember earlier he was speculating about his old Warcraft theories on light, and how too much life could potentially create a worst fate, since light in wow is life, and therefore you get everlasting, eternal horrifying existence.

And then comes Shadowbringers to go, "Yes, but wait! It gets worse!"
