Just because there isn't a melee in the group, means it's just practice for when there is.
This is one of the top things I aim for as a tank, the easier it is for the DPS, the quicker it dies and the less likely it'll go south
At least he ain't yelling "Big D damage Big D Damage Big D Damage Big D damage Big D Damage" every time he pushes a button. God that got so annoying back when he first started playing XIV. Dunno if he still does that, but seeing a total lack of that in this video gives me a little hope he outgrew that.
I'm new to FF14 and MMOs in general but isnt this like normal for tanks? I mean as long as you have 2 working brain cells you can do your damage and press the defensive CDs but the rest of your focus should be in your party and making it easier for them right?
I try to do this when I'm tanking also, give everyone space to do their junk. Gets a bit frustrating when tanks put the boss right on the edge of the arena where I barely hit my rear positionals
