Converting GShade over to ReShade | Final Fantasy XIV

If you’re one of the people that wants to leave GShade after the recent drama, but keep your shaders and presets, follow this quickly made guide to get there.

In case you already deleted your GShade and don’t have access to the shaders folder, you can use the link below. However if you choose to do so, I am not responsible for any issues that may occur. It should work perfectly, but you never know:

  1. Link to the originalk guide I used to make this video. Full credit to them! https://gist.github.com/ry00001/3e2e63b986cb0c673645ea42ffafcc26

I did change/modify a few ways to do this to fix an issue I had with presets looking weird. Not a big change, and it may not fix YOUR issue, but it did fix mine. <3

On top of that, sorry for the less well put together guide, but I was getting messages from many people having problems and I was just trying to get a guide out there ASAP to make sure I could help reduce the stress of those converting over.

  2. I uninstalled my gshade before so I downloaded the sharers file from github I did everything you said and it's still throwing up errors on every single present. "Failed to compile color sort" "Failed to compile mxao" and more there's like 10 errors and I can't seem to fix?

  3. Tried doing this and everything seemed to work just fine but for whatever reason whenever I tried scrolling down it auto scrolls upwards not allowing me to click on anything. Attempted to ask in the discord and they did not help me so I guess im shit outta luck
