  1. My daily episodes with potato-chan and watermelon-kun will resume tomorrow. I am taking longer than usual to release that – the 3 Coils of Bahamut is such an amazing experience, I really want to do it justice with a good video. So be prepared for a way longer than usual episode. For those who suggested I do Coils of Bahamut before moving on to Heavensward, thank you – you gave me one of the best nights of my life

  2. I started the game thinking in a Wow rush to endgame manner and didn't enjoy the game that much. Then my wife gave me great advice about the game and that was to treat it like a single player RPG first with MMO elements. Once i went with that mindset a lot of what Quazii stated in the video i experienced as well.

  3. With all the WoW people trying the game, I hope that in a few months when the new expansion comes out and they do their usual sweep of job changes to go with the expansion, that they give the starting jobs even a single OGCD skill each to make it more inviting for anyone who has it as an excuse not to try it.

  5. I had that Experience too

My only Problem is that in the EU there is only a small Organized Raidscene and there are a Lot of Nooby Players i never saw anywhere else in that ammount. With such Players you really dont want to do Hard Content fE Savage or Ultimate, how often People die in easiest Dungeons cause they never get out of Red Telegraphs

  6. Came over from WoW two years ago but played both until the beginning of this year. We have a lot of similar feelings. Glad you're having a good time, so much great stuff to come! Welcome to the community!

  7. More FFXIV creators need to see your comments on the "tedious" ARR quests and "long" cooldown. I started FFXIV the same time you did and have had zero problems with either one.

Many creators seem almost afraid of ARR and, as such, end up giving poor advice to new players. No, you don't need to rush through ARR to get to the "good stuff". ARR is the good stuff. Take your time, level a few jobs (or even an extra character) if you want. There is no "wrong" way to play this game.

(Unless, of course, you end up having less fun because some 10-year FFXIV vet said you "have to" play the game a certain way)

  8. Welcome to the FFXIV family! Great to hear that you are enjoying the game! Do remember to pet all the lalafells on the way….wait a second you ARE a lalafell…well, just wait for someone to pet you then.

  9. I started playing FFXIV 7 months ago and Im still invested a lot. Something about this game is just awesome. I think its really the freedom. There are somedays I just chill out in the guild's house and talk to my mates. Its awesome.

  10. Today I went to do a msq, the sun was setting a beautiful red everywhere. Near a pier, every player just stops to watch the sun set. These little moments that are not scripted is what makes FF 14 special to me.
