  4. Dragoons can throw spears, Ninjas throw knives… Samurais make… eeeeh… somethin'something like windcuts with their blade? Reapers have to stand still and cast something (unless you used your portal for one instant cast…) … And yeah, Monk has nothing to throw at anyone… They have fist weapons but you usually just dont throw fistweapons around – unlike spears and knives (we ignore the fact, that both Dragoons and Ninjas throw away their weapons but somehow never lose them…). You could allow them to, say, cast a bolt of Chi or somesuch… Personally, I wouldn't give any melee a range attack ๐Ÿ˜€

    Also, edit: listen to the "Spooky Slice" song ๐Ÿ˜€ That song has the potencial to become a FF14 classic on Halloween XD

  6. backflip onto the boss….

    I mean….HOW??? You backflip backward, not backflip forward. how come you can backflip forward? we dragoon use Dive for gap closer, not the backflip. or….is there any secret to make it backflip forward (which sounds strange)

    I mean, normal player will walk backward to avoid boss attack, since rotating camera and moving takes more time

  11. Not sure if you're interested in this, but MNK has a ways to deal with downtime that aren't actually ranged attacks.

    They do a 0.5s GCD to charge a Chakra, or use Six Sided Star which does almost as much damage as two GCDs but incurs double the GCD of a normal weaponskill. So that delays your rotation and throws it out of whack but can help for slightly longer downtime. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Caveat being you have to hit before you piss off.
