Welcome to my guide on FFXIV’s “A Familiar Face” Critical Engagement, located in the new Zadnor duty from patch 5.5. This is a Zone 1 Critical Engagement, and successfully completing it without being hit by avoidable AOEs will make you eligible to be chosen for the “Hypertuned Dabog” duel called “The Broken Blade”.
This CE does NOT reward any field notes, but the duel that it spawns will drop the Dabog II field note if you successfully complete it.
