about spirit vessel, the Warrior of Light/Darkness is the only person who is properly summoned to the First in both body and soul, so you can travel between the Source and the First at will.
the others get nabbed due to misfired summoning spell, which resulted in them got there with only souls, and need spirit vessels to get back
for other to be able to go back and forth at will, they need to make a portal that is not tailor-made for 1 person like with our cases.
