  1. I liked the free trial so much I registered for another one even after getting a full account!

    Advantages to this:
    – Can 'Solo' A4S without worrying about Nisi
    – Can help a friend get into the 50/60/70 Alliance Raids unsynched to take screenshots when they don't want to use Explorer mode for whatever reason
    – Can semi-AFK heal with scholar fairy in content such as PotD/HoH and 60/70 treasure dungeons

  2. Been playing this game for 3years straight and I'm just now reaching a point of burnout. I'll join back on once the new stuff happens but the game has treated me well. Also that skit was hilarious in the beginning 😂😂😂

  3. Honestly, this move was genius by Square Enix. I have a free trial account as well as a my regular account. On the Free trial Discord I've seen many a long time free trial player give in and sub just because that Stormblood to Shadowbringers cliffhanger is brutal and people just had to see it through.

  4. I think it's fair to mention all those restrictions are made because of bots. Like in any other game, ff14 has "gold seller" too, so 300k gil cap makes sense and housing also, because if we look to Ark Survival Ascended, their official servers are floated with bots capturing spaces and selling these spots for real money.

  5. You arrived at a "this isn't all a happy land" comment, take a seat and rip off your pyrovision. Or pass your way, no one will judge you.

"Yes, come in the Free trial, you can be like us normal people, you can spend your money like a grown up and hangout at Limsa too, but don't be happy yet. That'de be 12 a month mate. And don't you dare make "friends"…
There is no need for friends, the only friend you need is Party-findersan.
What's that you don't like? You want to play SAM? Here, have what's left of it, prepared just so you can't taste just how right it was.

Now now, don't you feel like you should pay up now for the great server performances you see? What do you mean you paid hundreds in expensions already… I said 12 a month, mate. Now go afk and fill the city a bit like some premium ++ NPC until you're bored to death.

Not like there was other games that didn't ask monthly for better netcode, that'de be crazy, irrelevant, surely they're sinking, they're desperate for players that's all. Right? You silly…"

It's an MMO for the love of potatoes, with the free trial you're not trying the MMO. You're trying the story while being treated like an immigrant in the USA. If it's your kink, go off on it brother, wont lie to you and say am not fallen meself.

= Also GG for reading all the way, have a formal typed congratulation in fault of cookie outage: /clap =

  6. When I finally had a decent income I actually genuinely paid for Winrar once. And a few other programmes like Alcohol 1000% or whatever it was called. (which I accept, rather defeats my altruism. what with Alcohol being CD ripping software.)

  7. Some of those restrictions on free trial accounts are pretty brutal for my play style. Totally moot in my case anyway. Because I was a veteran of FFXI for well over a decade. So I knew what I was getting into with FFXIV and was happy to pay from the outset.

  8. Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn, The award-winning Heavensward expansion and The award-winning Stormblood expansion up to level 70 for free with no restrictions on playtime

  9. Free trial user here. Its nice though to not use other things, such as retainers or banks. Makes the crafting and gathering experience more interesting, as you need to research in depht for the recipe, all the necessary ingredients and items, and then actually craft. Entertaining, absolutely tedious with all the running and back and forth, but its a nice way to explore and immerse yourself in the world!

  10. Love watching your vids, Zepla! Though I will say my only criticism is your mic volume.
It's exceptionally low and I wonder if you can tune it up just a bit so we can hear your wonderful remarks on FFXIV so much easier! 🥰

  11. Great video. That skit at the beginning made me snort! So one way to sort of counter the gil cap is by taking the Allagan gold/silver/tin pieces as quest rewards and keeping them in inventory or chocobo bag. I have almost a million to cash in once I eventually finish the free trial and buy the full game.

  12. aren't you not allowed to whisper too, or did they change that? i remember being really sad on my free trial at not being able to reply to someone who said they liked my glam 😭

  13. I was about to buy the game after already spending a looooot of hours in the Trial and then got the news about it being expanded to include Stormblood – guess I'll keep it going for a while longer~. Still haven't really started the Stormblood main quest, though ^^'
