In this video, I’m returning to FFXIV after a year of being away. I hope you enjoy the video and please leave a like and comment if you have any questions!

It’s been a year since I last played FFXIV, and I’m excited to come back and talk about my journey. In this video, I’ll be talking about my experience coming out as transgender, my thoughts on coming back to YouTube, and some of the changes I’ve seen in the gaming community since I last played FFXIV.

  1. Glad to have you back. As far as content goes, I think it would be great just to see what you do to get back into the swing or things and what you learn as you catch up. I stopped playing around the same time as you but I’ve had the itch to come back, too. But it’s always overwhelming when there is so much new stuff.

  3. As I always tell creators that I have subscribed or supported in some way, your health and well being is priority. I'm glad that you are now comfortable with who you are and where you're at now. I'm certain that as long as you feel better and happy than all the more to you.

  4. You go, girl. I’m proud of you for being confident enough to accept who you are and make it public. So few people can be that confident. I’m M2F trans myself, and have the same issue of a more masculine voice, so don’t feel ashamed about having it. I’ll still be watching all of your content, and will be fully supporting you no matter what you do.

Welcome back to the community, Chatter. We’ve all missed you.

  10. Welcome back and congrats! Funnily enough, I swapped to Viera not too long ago since I wanted something taller than fem Au Ra, and now my character gives me dysphoria (still in the closet and I now call Viera dysphoria buns).

  12. Welcome back Chatter! If you are looking for new video ideas, I always love your Gil making guides and maybe you could also try out the new Sil’dahn Subterrane variant dungeons. I never really got into those so it would be cool to see one of your guides. Glad you are back and feeling better! ❤️

  14. omg welcome back!!! im so excited to see you return, it was sad to see you gone, but it was also so clear you just weren't feeling it at all.
it's great to hear you feel better, im transmasc and hearing you be happier and more comfortable is genuinely so nice. and yeah, being recognized and seen as your gender is really eye opening. ffxiv is honestly a good place for that, too.

in terms of content, so often gilmaking videos are centered around "the best way" or "the fastest way", but those are so often time dependent. perhaps, if interested, you could talk about a good/consistent way of figuring out what's worth selling at a given time. i dont know if that made any sense lmao. anyway, glad to have you back!! ❤

  15. Not going to lie, as a gay man im gonna miss the big buff Hrothgar 😢
But congratulations on you becoming the true you!

On final fantasy xiv ive been the same, as much as i love it, ive realized that outside of pvm there isnt much to do/worth
Ex. Crafting and Gathering skills seem abit "pointless"
most areas outside of citys are kinda dead,
that player island was a super letdown to me aswell
Ive pretty much hopped on to keep my shell houses and that it😅
