  1. Please do this more often. Not too many content creators take the time to do this and it helps promote other people to post on the forums. Also can you do one focused on physical ranged posts

  2. So… we have a guy who made a mistake choosing his weapon, clicking fast and not reading/checking what's buying, and now wants system to change – that's a LOL for me.
A person who wants a house and prefer sit 14 hours than take a roulette – seriously? Dreaming you will get a house this way and it's better for you. Glad you can sit 14hours per day in game 🙂
Queue with Raids – it's called a roulette for a reason. For me I prefer to have some quick roulettes and don't mind CT. But I am getting all kinds of raids, and Aglaia still happen quite often. Longest time takes to wait for NIer raids. On Louisoix for me

Checking forum with you, then myself, it's better. I can gather my things on my (and my mammets gang) Island Sanctury while listening to people's affairs with game 🙂

  3. Yeah for the housing thing, if not for a series of things like a pandemic, hurricanes, economic stagnation, A WAR, yeah I get upset at the auto-demolish too. But when you remember those things I'm sure most people would understand. And if you remember those things and are still upset… maybe you have other problems to worry about then a digital house.

  4. I have really wanted more ways to exchange gear for other gear for a while, just because I like playing literally every job in the game. I main astro/sage currently, but I play every job in the game including blue mage. I would like level capped dungeons to give a piece of gear you don't have at the end of the dungeon run like the levelling dungeons, because prolonging a dungeon's life by not dropping gear is boring and aggravating if you really just want the glamour. If playing as a dps and you have someone else playing your role in the dungeon, you likely roll against them in a lot of cases. So yeah, on the first point, I would like this for all forms of content, not just tome gear but dungeon gear as well. Exchange accessories for other accessories, arms for other arms, feet for other feet, and so on, for all forms of content.

On housing, I do hope at some point that there would be some effort to expand on apartments, being able to buy a loft attachment where we can place outdoor housing items including garden furnishings and such, having floors or just greater sizes. I'm a tiny house enjoyer irl, and being creative with a small space is nice, but the placing limit also ruins the fun a fair bit. So increasing the placing limit, making apartments a lot more…well more would make the housing situation in the game a lot better. I also would like for the team to consider letting us have an actual house with actual customizability and furnishing placement in island sanctuaries, because then a person could access it, upgrade it, change its appearance and everything through island content. Imagine the content boom of island sanctuaries if we could gather for 12 hours and have the materials to make a nice cottage, and then we putter away at getting materials to make furniture and fill it up. Sounds fun in my opinion, relaxed and something to do while waiting for long queues.

I have suggested it before and I suggest it again now – more roulettes. I have nothing against the current roulette system aside there not being enough roulettes. As much as some people have been against the idea of more roulettes because we'll find less people doing roulette content and doing low level content when they're past it, there's plenty reason contradicting that argument. We have people who do ilvl cheese, and we have a lot of people levelling up jobs that are just that low level that they're doing the content in that range because there are so many new people in the game at almost all times. Eventually some people will syphon out of certain roulettes, but there's always more people. And having the ability to choose "do I want to run a roulette from heavensward cap dungeons? or stb cap dungeons?" or the ability to choose "should I remove some gear to ilvl cheese, or just queue into a roulette that'll get me what I feel like playing?" The issue of "we don't want to provide too many roulettes for fear of turning away people who will consider they have to do every roulette available to them" is nonsensical because most people will just do the roulettes they feel like doing. I like having a range of roulettes when I'm doing them. I don't roulette all the time, but when I do, I'd like to be able to anticipate the content I'm going into. And for some content to be given more life by having roulettes in ranges that some people just don't frequently go back to. As far as not getting Aglaia or the other raid for 10 hours straight…yeah, I think they might be on one of the less populated regions…

I have had little opinions about everything in this video, but that about sums up my input on this video. Thanks for covering some topics on the forums Haps! Avid listener providing the rare comment check in~!

  5. Is everything terrible? All I love, just something only stupid people could endure? Is my favorite job the WORST? Every time I go there, it's depressing, so… best to avoid. If there's a positive, actually helpful forum out there, on any topic, I have yet to find it.

  6. If you want to get in a non-Crystal Tower 24- man, I would suggest checking party finder. I see a lot of PFs for 24-mans, though less so lately. But when I wanted to run some Ivalice raids for glams, there was usually a PF up there whenever I checked at least.
Though, one side note, there are also PFs for Blue Mage's wanting to run the 24-mans for the Blue Mage log and stuff too. So that might make it a bit harder to find the 24-man you're looking for cuz they want all BLM for those runs.

  7. For the ilvl skip in Alliance Raid im convinced SE could fix it by just adding a forced ivll sync akin to Bozja/Zadnor. You get set to an ilvl (480 iirc) regardless of your actual gear.
If you got an alliance raid unlocked, you can get put in provided your level is right. So even if Someone takes off all their rightside they can be put into puppets e.g. if the game just sets you to be ivl 480 the bozja way.

  8. I always try to sort my thoughts on housing in FFXIV to try and avoid the emotional gut reactions. The main problem is that they have some functionality, but not really enough to justify the trouble of owning one. They also are an in-game economic problem since housing is what kind of powers the carpenters craft, but at the same time with limited wards it really hampers the housing. Also the sheer amount of expense involving the housing is really precise on specific individuals due to the limited number of houses.

Housing works for FCs because hypothetically you got multiple people pooling resources, but individual housing presses everything onto a single owner.
