WAR is the best! Join usssss
Warrior is definitely the go-to for grinding out Eureka levels. Make sure to grab the unique chest item for whatever job you go for, though! It'll make your life in there much less tedious.
why does the thumbnail look like "somebody kicked his nuts and he sort of liked it"?
Everyone is jelly of Pints videos. Youre not the only one.
Eureka is SO MUCH BETTER if you can do it as a duo. A tank/DPS pair can group up mobs and burn them down to level Elemental XP & prep the boss spawns so much easier. WAR & PLD have the self healing needed to make it a breeze.
I got my ozma mount on accident lol. I was solo farming for an emote in Hydatos, and a red portal opens right next to me. I shout "What the heck is going on?" They asked if I wanted to join they had 3 spots. I joined on the 2nd half of the raid and got my mount π. Cafe had a discord and gave pretty clear instructions. I didn't dps or anything just did mechanics on Ozma and won!! π
I remember when Eureka didn't let you use mounts until you were max level. Lol
I hope they make another convoluted raid like BA. maybe not the entry part…
But the puzzles of hidden passages, splitting up and fighting separate bosses at the same time, OUTSIDE help to trigger something INSIDE the raid was cool.
Iβd argue that Pint has NOT been playing 14 for βagesβ. Heβs fairly recent in comparison to the average player. He does put in more hours than most players though, and his content is excellent.
13:07 xD I haven't done Eureka myself at all so I didn't know about this. It's actually reminding me of the game called Visage, which actually gives pretty much a similar warning like this when you start a game, saying the game can get impossibly hard and requires a lot of tenacity and patience… and it's actually justified, because in the game you don't know where the enemy will spawn or when. In my case I hid in a very small room with a washing machine… and the enemy spawned right in front of me, thus trapping me and instantly killing me. I find it funny, because not even Dark Souls games give such a warning (at least not to my knowledge).
eureka is super fun, one thing pint didn't mention in the video are the boss spawning mechanics, which can be a little intimidating when you first hop in but can be a really rewarding experience. basically each boss has certain conditions for spawning (weather, time of day, respawn cooldown etc) and has a random chance to spawn each time one of its' prerequisite mobs are killed. you could just farm mobs on your own to get exp, or wait in camp for other people to spawn the bosses for you, but a big part of the fun in my opinion is pulling up a tracker with some friends and going around leading the charge in spawning bosses. it really makes it feel like you're part of the expedition into eureka and also makes the content a lot more active and social. plus it's fun because while spawning in a group, you can usually pull an ABSURD amount of mobs at once, far more than anywhere else in the game
Having played FF11 online for 9 years kept me out of Eureka. Eureka is basically FF11 online lite version. Back then, I had youth and tenacity. Now, I don't got them. And yes, I have beaten Absolute Virtue in FF11 online. I was among many Black Mages on the sideline replacing others without MP.
