  1. As soon as I saw the weather in the Black Shroud, I knew exactly what this was. (If you don't know, if you see this kind of weather, I forget the name, it means a rare FATE, which doesn't appear on the map, where you fight Odin appears. You need at least 20 people to take him down, so spread the word as soon as you see such weather)

  2. It will have core concept of FF14 1.0. Monster have hidden mechanics. (Mushroom around gridania will puff up and you should not attack it while it puff so it doesn't release poison spore) Hit box are complicated. (You can use grovel emote to dodge odin wide AOE, Small Lalafel have advantage over rogadyn but compensated by difference based stat) No quest tracking. No AOE indicator. No minimap. Minimum HUD. Actions are stamina based (but called ATB)

  5. The funny thing is, I ran into the Odin fate as I was doing the sylphs rep grind last month and decided to treat it as any other fate and jump right in, this video pretty much encompassed my 3 attempts before leaving it alone. Continuing my rep grind I get a 5min warning on the fate and rush in to see 20 or so people fighting and him at only 90%. Suffice it to say we did not even get him down to 70% before time ran out. Still that was the best fate I had done loved every minute of it and looking back at it it definitely feels like it was made by a Fromsoftware fan/former employee
