1 Hour of Final Fantasy 14 on the Steam Deck Docked (PvP & Alliance Raid)

Was testing the steam deck docked, figured someone might find this video useful. I went for some of the heavier loads to test performance @ standard laptop quality.

Timestamps
0:00 Setting things up
5:20 Frontlines (BARD)
22:22 Running around 1
29:20 Frontlines (REAPER)
47:22 Running around 2
52:50 Alliance Raid (Dun Scaith)
1:26:07 The file size was 76GB so I didn’t cut anything

Steam Deck was docked and set into desktop mode since the gamepad interferes with the external mouse in the regular game mode. External Mouse, Keyboard, and HDMI connected through USB-C Hub. HDMI was then routed to an EVGA XR1 capture card. FFXIV was ran through steam free trial edition.

Resolution was set the decks native resolution of 1280 x 800 @ 60fps limit

USB-C Hub Tested in the video was the Dockteck 7-in-1 USB C Hub https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SLS9W72

Recommended USB-C Hub (Allows for faster charging compared to others)
