  7. What makes it more comical, is afaik some of those dancers are actually in executive or high up positions within SE. They aren't just some random dancers, interns, or run of the mill employees.

  13. It amazes me how much a lot of those Japanese comments were exactly what I'd expect from an English audience too. "What?!?! No way! It's the meme! Omg the dance! It's the emotes! LOL! I want this in the game!" lots of adorable excitement!

  14. For any of the western audience stumbling upon this, the "88888" spam is clapping. Japanese sound for clapping is "pachi" which sounds like the word for 8 "hachi" so it is used as substitution. The "wwww" spam stands for "warau" which is the verb for laughing. You can think of it as the equivalent to "lol" or "lmao" depending on the length. Guess that meme transcended the language barrier.

    Otherwise, people will just enter the twinning and dance instead of actually going through the dungeon XD.
    That being said, I am pretty FF14 devs would make a shit ton of money with that. Which I would be fine to be honest 😀
