  1. I know people on Twitter were trying to say this when everyone was mad and demanding compensation for the long queue so he's not the only one saying this, though I get from the comments this is more of a Japan issue.

  2. Zepla makes such great content! I wish I wasnt so attracted to her visually, because the sensation is just too distracting to look at the video and listen at the same time lmao

  3. Some players act like such babies. These devs have listened and communicated to the community more than most other devs would. Having come from other live games where feedback is simply ignored or not taken to action at all, Yoshi-P and his team have done a fantastic job.

  4. You have to accept the risk if you reserve vacation time for a video game release. Regardless of if the company has a track record for hitting their dates. It’s probably one of the riskier events you can schedule time off around. I understand being disappointed but there’s zero reason to attack the devs. It was very clear Yoshi-P was torn about having to delay the release and I’m sure the game was better for it.

  5. The thing is you can not like something and express dissatisfaction without verbal abuse. For instance I loved EW but I didn’t care for the quests where you had to follow people without being spotted. Those sort of quests drive me nuts.

If I were giving feedback to the developers rather than just pointing out what I disliked and using verbally abusive language, I would start with what I did like and maybe throw in that I didn’t care for those.

  6. Addressing these comments in a public manner is certainly a good idea as it both shows the limits that are acceptable and acknowledge those whom got hurt. However, I do not believe all nasty comments are made by mistake or in ignorance, some are with malicious intend to "shit on" Endwalker devs because of the anonymity of the internet. Therefore I believe that those who are shocked or appalled by hearing this should not try to convince those "haters" to stop, as some of them will simply not listen, but instead turn their attention to the ones that are feeling hurt by this and balance out the negative remarks as much as possible.

  7. People expect a product to be good, so are naturally not inclined to praise the producer if something is good. If the product is good the people jut continue buying the good. However if a product doesn't live up to expactation and there isn't an alternative then people like to let the producer know, so that they will get a good product in the future.
Combine the 2 and you'll know why most producers (in any industry) get more 'negative' feedback than positive feedback, this in itself can be demoralising even if the negative feedback is constructive.

  8. tbh, i met alot of ppl with who i play, with who i met, be it players from ARR to the new ones, the Stormblood, they all say thing like: this issue could've been fixed YEARS ago, and they did nothing, really upsets me. Maybe i just.. Played bad games for all of my years, or i really like how FF14 is done (systems, world, well, almost anything) and i can't see what they are talking about. Sometimes, i agree with them, like, the Job selection list. You can't move jobs in it, only to move them up/down in the list, or switch the positions of them (from 19 to 21, not put 19th job before 21 for ex.) or Materia transmutation in Thanalan. I piled up a TONS of it. like, 150+ battle ones from SHB EACH. And, i wasted 40 mins transmuting it all, one by one. It was worth it in the end, but like… Interface can be improved. And, i don't think that that's alot of work, even if we'll take in account the Spaghetti Code. And still… I'm happy. I don't see a trouble with it. Even with little scratches around the edges, FF14 is Standing strong, and one of the best expririences i've ever had. Call me fanboy, call me moron or madman, i can overlook it all, and see a beautiful Jewel within it all.

  9. As popularity grows, so to will critics voicing issues… warranted or not.

There is a reason why he has had to address this now that so many have flooded the game in recent months.

  10. Yoshi is such a sweetheart. He really cares for his team. How anyone can be mean and unpolite to someone they dont know (if you know em and they're a poop face, by all means) is so silly.

  11. How fucking soulless and inhuman do you have to be to hurl insults at what is almost certainly one of the greatest dev teams in existence? How inane, idiotic and broken do you have to be to do that over the most minor issues imaginable (a delay of 2 weeks is this upsetting to you? Really?? How old are you, 5?)?

That's honestly just plain disgusting. These amazing people have worked damn hard to deliver us an expansion that is quite possibly one of the best expansions ever created, and they get this as thanks from some people? I'm shocked and disgusted. Shocked and disgusted, I say.

  12. No matter how many positive things you hear – if you CARE, the negatives will always hit you harder, and you will always remember them. At some point it may be too much 🙁 …

  13. People that own crappy cars tend to not bother fixing them and don't care if stuff happens to it that makes it worse. If you own a nice car you put the effort in to keep it nice by repairing all the little defects. His metaphor is that letting the crappy people win means the game community will just sink to their level. That's what happened to other communities, the reason why they became so toxic. Never lower bars, always raise them.

  14. That's all true about not being mean to devs, I'm a dev myself and understand it perfectly.

Nonetheless my experience with endwalker was kinda ruined because of audio stuttering. It's very frustrating when after new expansion your audio is broken. And I know it's because of their agreement with third party audio package "immerse" which fixes audio a bit (not fully though), but it costs additional money.

There is already a thread on the forums about that, but no one knows when it will be properly addressed and fixed.
My immerse trial has ended and now it's barely playable with current audio issues for me. I guess I'll just play something else for now.

  15. I don't feel good but silver lining is that it's not like the US players rather it's the JP group but it still sssuuuuccckkks, but as long as I can make the experience in game to be more enjoyable thats all that matters to me
Edit: I think people who are against Tom Hanks are kinda psychopaths since they believe he eats baby's or something, it's a conspiracy theory thing

  16. This team brought this game back from the brink of destruction. Things have happened in the laat two years that are out of the control, we have gotten great content considering the circumstances. They are doing their best.
