  1. Isn't the concept of a fight with a breakable floor already in the game? I mean, we have the Shinryu fight. We also have a few fights with verticality in mind, like that one boss that changes gravity in the Omega raids.
Ideally, I think it'd be more interesting if the fights took place in more diverse arenas that are not "Square", "Circle" and "Donut".

  2. I like that he's sticking to his guns on environmental control (or the lack thereof) regarding g-pose. He's got his vision for the game and the things within it, and he's done fantastic job of it. He's its director for a reason. Not to say that he's infallible, nor that the game couldn't use any improvement, but it's quite good that even though he does often listen to and consider player concerns, he's not a doormat that just acquiesces to everything thrown his way.

  3. My speculation is It'll arrive in 6.2. 6.1 is too soon, 6.2 sounds resonable. 6.3 people are hoping for Hildibrand and by 6.4 it'd be a little late into the expansion to introduce a leveling aspected 'Deep Dungeon'.

  4. It is just so fun and brings a certain king of joy not only to me but other players i'm very sure in seeing the Dev's of a game we love all play together in a band. As well perform with just as much joy and love that they deliver to the game FF14 itself. That's damn special!

  5. I really like that they are teasing more about what's coming for the future of the game in a deeper way than just planned content.

Also, I didn't get why you got excited for what was said about deep dungeons. Yoshi-P himself talked about deep dungeons back in the Endwalker mediatour and said that they were working on something for Endwalker. This was not new information to me. That said, talking about it now might lead to a more detailed discussion in the upcoming liveletter so that's good to hear anyway.

  6. About squadrons. I think they should implement a feature where, for example, two dps players can share the same squadron than consists of a tank and healer. This way they won’t turn this into a single player experience, but let dps folks to not wait forever in the queue.

  7. Koji just standing in the back, and then steps forward in his part of the song to deliver his slam(ing)s/tunes..,
    (continues video)

yeah, then what about things that are story locked like the Moon gates which are required to get passed to keep going on the MSQ..,
but can never be seen again afterwards..,

  8. 5:15 we have that kind of mechanics exploit in biniding coil of bahamut T1 (dodge dive bomb at the hole) and T7 (using jump to avoid stone casting debuff), At the end developers disagree the second exploitation and called that cheating.

  9. There's three locations I can see for the new Deep Dungeon:

    1. Garlemald. What Zenos and Fandaniel did to the capital was horrifying, and there are probably some big things that they made or engineered, or something big that tunneled into the deep.

    2. Smileton. Who knows just how much The Big Cheese built before we stopped it, and how deep that rabbit hole goes?

    3. Ultima Thule. This one has the best chance, because of the high potential of things that are abstract and strange, and the inherent malleability if the space. Lingering memories of the Meteia, given form at the edge of the universe.
