  1. i really hope they decide to do more Trustable Trials. i feel like, with them wanting to make the game more single player friendly, they could really change a lot just by having more trustable trials. It's not like we even got loot from doing the 1 Trust Trial we got so far in EW.
I think they could use that concept as a way to rework the Stone, Sky, Sea instances for "testing your damage" against the boss. wouldnt it be really neat to be able to Trust a current savage raid fight, just to specifically have a solo prog of learning a fight rather than going through hours of pf or looking for a static? and its not like you would get loot for beating the Trust Savage, cause much like the Trust Trial the AI will mess up for the most part, but its all really dependant on you surving, but i just think it would be a really neat way for the devs to push the potentiality of the game.

  2. The part that doesn’t make sense to me is how did Zenos know about the remote? He couldn’t have. He wasn’t there when they where handed out. Who told him? I suppose it could be argued that he was told before he left to go help but why would he be trusted with that information?

I personally felt like it was a Deus Ex wildcard moment.

  3. Good. In a time when people release games on time and they are full of game breaking bugs, a studio that has the pride to delay a release for something so "trivial" because they want the game to be perfect for the fans is something to be praised.

  4. That's so strange about the Dynamis not being a thing in Shadowbringers. I mean there was an item in Bozja I remember called "Dynamis Dice" which was like a random effect item when used. I remember that name cause I made the Dynamis connection when they first talked about it to that item.

  5. I didn't get so much time with Moen since I started playing in 2.5 but that scene made me sob because Urianger has been living with that guilt for years and finally getting some closure… I cried for Urianger, and I didn't even like him before ShB.

  6. I Chose not letting you leave. best option for my interpretation of my character. even though I cannot deny wouldn't be a lie entirely, it's not something she'd ever admit.

  7. American, don't understand a bit of Japanese except a few words. I play with Japanese voices. Think I switched not far into into 2.0 as it was just terrible, and never switched back. Watching streamers it is kind of jarring, but I much prefer the JP voice actors in the end. Most of the voices match the character better IMO, especially Meteion's voice. English VA just doesn't suit her character very well.

  8. One of my favorite things about FFXIV is that they're not afraid to do retcons for the game when they know that it's better for the story of the game overall. The thing is that they frame the story in such a way that when they retcon things it feels like you're just finding out more information about things you were unsure about before or that you're presented with new information which frames things we've already seen in a different light. They have even gone so far as to change the game to bring it more in line with where things are going in the future. For example, you have the new version of your fight with the Ultima Weapon where you seemingly call upon the power of dynamis to pull off an LB3 after Hydaelyn says that she has no more to give. Then you also have the new animations given to the enemies you fight in the World of Darkness that happens when they're defeated which matches up with what we're seeing in the story right now where their aether disperses but it doesn't return to the lifestream.

  9. To be honest I had a feeling something was off with that cutscene. It just seamed a bit too wordy, like somebody added the dialog in last minute. You probably could have taken it out and still had an awesome scene. I'm glad it was in there, but I swear I noticed it without noticing it.

  10. Interesting. That scene which was "added" felt in fact a sort of forced stop. Tbh there are other moments in the MSQ where this happens, but it kinda looked like an "interrupted flow", unexpected.

  11. My take: At the end of the fight, barely alive, we blink and flash back to scenes of the Scions, our past, we are dying and our life is flashing before us – but we want to return to the Scions – we want to continue on and that is what makes the remote fall back to us. Our will to live on and return to our friends.

  12. About the Thancred and Ryne thing, we already do have a way from the Source into the Thirteenth. And, if people do their role quests in Shadowbringers, we know a couple of kids who can open rifts to the Void so… Guess it's only a matter of time!

  13. When it comes to the teleporter landing back by the Warrior of Light….. i see that as… partly twist of fate, partly "The Twelve" intervening. Remember, we hit the button on our Teleporter, then let it go and its swept up into the wind, we never see it 'land' afterwards. Nor do we see it 'poof' away on its own. My head-cannon is that it was left up there.. swirling around in the abyss during our fight with Starbird, then later with our final fight with Xenos. And it was 'guided back to us' to bring us back to our friends.
