  1. Elezen got a major glowup and I love it since my main two alts are Elezen :3. My main being an AuRa however i'm dicey about how I feel, the scales look great but their eyes and faces went from this soulless look i'd picture when you stare down a lizard to just human eyes with lizard features and that's gonna take some getting used too cause I loved the old soulless glow my AuRa's eyes have currently they fit how I picture a lizard person's eyes to look.

  2. I mean, there is definitely improvement. But is it like, groundbreaking? No. I am more curious about the anti-aliasing and environmental graphics honestly. That's always been where my issue with the game's graphics was at, rather than character models.

  3. Some people need to crawl out of their niche and realize that not even 5% of the total playerbase uses mods if we exclude parsers. This overhaul is long overdue and much needed for a lot of players. Deal with it.

  4. Regarding the limitation, most likely an example issue that they face is the actual rendering of the sprites and models. The main difference about mods is that it is client side only, meaning only the mod-user will render the additional polygons and whatnot. However, if this is on every character in the game, this will definitely add on the load for rendering and making a roughly educated guess judging from how YoshiP was trying his hardest to not force a spec requirement change, this was avoided to prevent even more load to the players. He most likely decided to let it pass this time to make it an all-in-one spec upgrade instead of making a spec upgrade every expansion.

Did they fix the giraffe necks?
Whats interesting is they did not show hair with color variety, either white or blonde…
Definitely going dark skin on my Vierra doe but the eyes… they are darker

  6. The glamour system is super outdated and I dislike having to use glamour prisms each time I want to apply my glamour plate. ahhh other MMOs like even the failing game, ESO, get the fashion customization done sorta right (if it werent limited with pay walls for more outfit slots).

  7. Who scrolls in this far playing the game to see the differences? 99% of the game is played zoomed out to see everything going on. Character improvements are negligible but happy for anything. Hoping the world environments are impacted by the update more than the pcs.

  8. I really doubt that the issue is console for things like the dye channels (it 100% is with mods but not this) at least not entirely, for better or worse they’re gonna keep supporting PS4 for the same reason that the system requirements are staying relatively low, to allow poorer people on older hardware and potato PCs to keep playing the game, which is the best compromise we’re probably gonna see for a while.

That being said, DT should 100% be the last expansion to support PS4, because at that point the PS5 will itself be further into it’s lifetime than the PS4 was when they dropped PS3 support with SB release.

  9. There’s still just some really poorly designed systems in the game man, the glam system is awful, PvP is completely unbalanced because everyone has nigh infinite healing and a low CD invincibility button (it’s that unbalanced that queueing casual CC with a friend is too OP apparently), same old 450 tome cap limiting character progression far more than it should, 4th turn only dropping 2 weapons between 8 players for 19 different jobs (seriously just lower the book cost or drop at least 2 coffers + 2 random weapons).. just so many bizarre choices
