Xeno Reacts to Dumb Comments After Rich Cleared TEA

Rich Campbell, after days of being stuck in the closet, finally cleared the last Final Fantasy XIV Ultimate Raid: The Epic of Alexander. In this video Xeno goes on Reddit and Twitter to check what people have to say about Rich becoming a Triple Legend and laugh at the idiotic takes some people have. Xeno predicted long ago, during Allcraft with Rich and Asmongold that people will be mad if they clear Ultimate Raids in Final Fantasy 14 and his prediction came true.

  1. Wish we could do a breakdown of people who don't think he was carried and those who think he was. I'd bet money the positive people congratulating him and who don't think he was carried have cleared and the negative ones who think he was carried haven't cleared.

  2. Honestly i dont get why people shit on rich for playing phys ranged. It literally is the easiest job, ofc you will pick the easiest role when youre a beginner. Reddit is always full with "im new what should i play?" posts. And the different difficulties between jobs is what makes the game

  3. This proves the theory I always had about the FFXIV community, its the same as every fucking gaming community ..It's full of toxic people but the game's system is well designed to contain that toxicity.

Somebody in a video game cleared something, why is this controversial ?why do they have an urge to undermine his achievement? get a fucking real life

  4. I don't understand getting carried in a FF fight. You just do your job and do the mechanics properly and you get the clear? It's not exactly an impossible feat. Obviously this is the hardest content that can be done in the game so I suppose it's normal to be envious… but it's just a dumb title after all who cares?

  5. These videos are what made me follow Xeno years ago– was Rich carried or he earned it or is it somewhere in-between? Did the streamers with him do so just to boost their own viewership? Frankly, the reality is that he's done it and increased popularity for the content– move on people. I'm just still miffed that Xeno didn't get invited to the FFXIV media tour so that we could get a more integral yet keen insight into the new level 90 job skills.

  6. Raiding in general isn't very hard. It just takes a time commitment and luck with finding groups. Rich has both in spades. It's not surprising that he'd clear TEA. Looking forward to seeing him improve more and wishing I could find chill people on my DC to prog TEA with.

  7. congrats to Rich for clearing all of the ultimates, i wish i will manage to clear them one day too

i'm new to the MMO genre in geanral so i don't a lot of thing. however, i have a question for you Xeno, does parese really matter in this game? like what does it mean to have hight parses. i came from dota 2 there we have the MMR system and the higher the MMR the more skilled player are. but in this game i notice that a lot of people care about parses when it doesn't change anything that u can do inside the game. if you have 100 parses or 1 when clearing it won't change the fact that u cleared u will recive all of the toms or whatever regardles. so why so many people care about it? some static won't let you join them if you don't have a high parses. anyone anwer pls

  8. being famous and rich (no pun intended) gets you all sort of privilages .I find the guy to be an annoying twat, but he has a following for a reason, and he used that influence to build a "super team". Big streamers like him will always have access to things normals just will never have and people need to just accept that. Doesn't mean I have to congratulate the guy or be happy for him. To be honest I don't like streamers or streamer culture but seeing this fuck being spammed everywhere is more annoying than knowing he got a clear. Being a triple legend nowadays is no big deal anyways, I'm a triple legend and I still fuck up shit from time to time. The legend titles don't imply the player is some sort of god at the game.

  9. Well, actually you need all 8 people for heavensfall, you can cheese it with tank lb if 1 is dead, but i'm not sure if that counts, also blackfire with 7 people is way more annoying and also tenstrike. It can be done with 7 but more are probably gonna die then. So technically you need 8 ppl for many trios in Ucob if you dont cheese stuff with tank lb or are willing to sacrifice even more people. I dont think Rich got "carried" carried, but i do think that he got a bit carried by his partymembers dps. But he' learned the mechanics and he's done them. Ultimates are not just putting out godtier dps, it's more about masterjng difficult mechanics as a group. So yeah, i think he worked for it and ultimately he deserves the clear. Also took way longer than Ucob and Uwu so he had to suffer a bit haha and get "real" ultimate prog vibes.

  10. Oh God, video like this makes me so glad that I don't look at Reddit nor Twitter. If it weren't for this beard dad making it funny, I'd grow multiple brain tumors just by reading these people's angry comments. why do they even care so negatively about a videogame accomplishment of someone who they don't even like! I don't get it!

  11. If a newer player did their research and did the mechanics perfectly along with the other players… are they getting carried or just doing the fight correctly and happens to have party members who aren't sht?

  12. Rich is a social animal who makes friends easily. He succeeded in this because he met a bunch of other popular streamers, made friends with them, and proposed an event that would benefit them all.
He finished TEA because he made friends and played the game with them. That, if I recall, is the point of an MMO.

  13. The same people complaining about Rich's ultimate clears are probably the same people complaining about Max and a few others, boosting just to get to endgame content. Like, there are no set rules on how to play the game and you can't deny the fact that huge ass streamers are going to have connections to top tier raiders as is.

  14. The amount of people saying rich was the reason it was 400 wipes didn't even look at the streams or don't understand anything about the fight. The amount of times I saw the "7 pro carries" wipe a run in living liquid and bjcc was more in total than rich did.

    Copium is truly running rampant.
    ultimates are hard copium

  15. I'm very happy for Rich, but next time he's going to try an Ultimate, he should try to do it ALONE, away from the streams and in a different server, without revealing that he is a streamer. I know that he studied the fight and he did his job, but good luck finding in short time a party of totally stranger people that DON'T KNOW the fight, learn with them and trying to close a single Ultimate in less than 2-3 months with a couple of weekly try-evenings. Being a streamer don't make him stronger, but it still gives him a giant boost with time required, availability of players etc. etc. and those're totally no small things, when it comes to mmo contents.
