WOW PLAYERS FIRST DAY IN FINAL FANTASY XIV | 🌱 A REALM REBORN 🌱

ITS TIME …FF FRIDAY!! …this is a few snippets of me playing ARR and so far i fricking LOVE it. BEST TIME! i cant wait to play more and meet more of the community. You are all amazing! check out links below for ways to support and live streams on twitch! ❤️

FYI: I AM NOT NEW TO FF, but i am new to Lore. I rushed through before to play with friends in end game and remember nothing as i really wasnt interested. Left shortly after due to a bad experience in game. This time i have chose to watch every trailer, cinematic and cutscene to experience lore and to actually try the game properly. So basically a oldie noob xD Hope that clears a few things 🙂

  1. As an Au Ra player, welcome to FFXIV. I spent a week playing a Miqo in the trial before deciding i needed to get the full game to start again as an Au Ra (before they were part of the trial)

  2. Welcome to FFXIV ❤
You don't need to do any side quests in this game. Just do the Main Scenario Quests (MSQ) indicated by the flaming quest symbol and do your job quests that are every 5 levels.

You should also do the quests with a blue background because those unlock features and content.

  4. Welcome to Final Fantasy XIV. Please enjoy your stay, have fun, and enjoy the story. When you get to Level 15, make sure to talk to The Smith in any of the Adventurer's Guilds and do the training. You'll get gear suited to your class, and when you finish you get a ring that gives you a bonus to your stats, and an additional 30% experience while under Level 30.

  7. Welcome to Eorzea! Always happy to see new sprouts. If you're having fun now, I promise you A Realm Reborn is only the slowest part of the main story. Can't wait to see what you think of the content ahead!

  8. It's crazy how FF14 attracts, if not already, has Vtubers playing or have played it. I know big name Vtubers played it also how majority of the 14 strimmers are vtubers its nuts.

  9. Got recommended you by yt because I have a strange and perverse affinity for watching sprouts enjoy learning in this game. Welcome fellow au ra player, and fellow Gridania starter too! People love to hand out tips to sprouts but if you think some of those tips (like fully ignoring yellow quests- they're not necessary in terms of exp growth, truthfully, but they can be fun) will take away from your fun too much, don't worry about playing your way. Don't be afraid to prevail upon people in the community as a sprout, you have that marker so people know you'll need a helping hand or two. Please have fun. That's the most important thing.

  10. 7:41 He is one of the holy people of the forest.

So let me explain. Gridania used to be run by bunch of forest gods, the Elementals, that ran on blue and orange morality. Hunt a rabbit or pick a branch without their permission and they will turn you into wood. The horned children are their chosen servants, padjals, inviduals who have stopped aging at some point (it can be pre, mid or late teenage years) and grew horns.

The Elements are no longer around, kinda, since the Calamity, so Gridania is free to chose their future without their influence for the first time.

So in short, welcome to the community of recovering forest cultists. Dont worry, nothing creepy happens around here. Anymore…

  11. Welcome (back?) to eorzea! From your description you played before but didn't know any lore seems like. What did you play as before. How are you liking the gameplay compared to before?

I played a bit way back when stormblood was new but didn't get very far, skipped quests and cutscenes and was a black mage. I started up again when endwalker came as a summoner and read everything and watched the videos as I got to then like how you appear to be going. It's a much much fuller experience and now I love this game more than wow, and I played wow for a solid 10 years before haha. Also the ui, quest clean up, all the adjustments they've done since then made the arr gameplay much smoother so that was neat.

I definitely gotta see you react ti some of my favorite moments from the msq!

(Not really jk, but ill play it off as jk)

I hope your journey and travel in eorzea and beyond will always feel worth it for you.

as well as the memories of games you played in the past, and those yet to come.

Now time to actually watch the video, lol

  13. Moogles have a natural protective magic, they cant be seen by those they view as a potential threat. The fact that you can see them means you dont trigger that defense mechanism. They can though consciously shield themselves, strengthening their natural defenses, from you if they so wish, if you or a traveling companion spook them. Its usually seen as a good sign if you see a moogle.

Only those of kind hearts and/or strong magicks can see a moogle.

  14. I read the description before posting & I see why there was 1080 days subscribed for a “New Player”. 🤯

I hope you enjoy things and take the journey at your own pace, this time around. 🧐

    Welcome to Eorzea… again. 🤭
