I’m not an MMO person, normally, but maybe I can make a difference for the award winning game Final Fantasy XIV, with its free trial including gameplay up to lvl 60 and all the other stuff.

  1. In regards to the beast tribes, while I'm not defending the idea of just running in and killing people to take stuff, I believe all the beast tribe members that the WoL has any real chance to fight are all tempered by their respective Gods, and thus deaf to any semblance of reason or trade; brainwashed as they are by their primal gods, existing solely for the sake of worship and kidnapping more would-be tempered slaves. Across the various tribal quests available in the game the WoL is actually something of an ambassador to those members of the tribes not tempered by the primals able to meet them, learn about them, aid them, and ally with them over the course of each tribe's individual story. The stories are unlocked through daily quests which I don't expect you to work through as they can take a while and require a consistent time commitment, but there are chances to foster good relations with factions within the tribes.

This is of course to say nothing of the reasons why members of each tribe felt compelled to summon their gods in the form of primals in the first place that started the endless cycle of tempering and summoning. The Ascians may have taught them to summon, but it was very obviously man who tipped their hand.
