I remember fighting Titan back in 2.0 when the game launched. There were so many party wipes because people kept getting knocked off the arena. But now it is basic raid mechanics.
If you're gonna be changing bodies how about Viera? Id say hrothgar bc they're awesome but wait until dawntrail and you can get a lady one!

Man, the memories. This fight is where I got stuck when I first played the game, back at 2.0 release. There were terrible latency issues back then, resulting in getting knocked off the edge and being unable to be revived, and since I was trying to play healer back then… there was no victory to be had. I tried again a couple times during free login campaigns, but they still hadn't fixed it, and eventually I gave up. Finally, around Stormblood release, I happened to get a new PC, and saw an ad for the Stormblood benchmark, so I tried it out to test the new PC. It ran so well, I decided to give the game another try, as DPS instead of healer. I got past the Titan fight so easily after that; I was in shock. Got all excited to finally be able to continue the story, and BAM! They hit you with this. I was hooked from that moment on.
Conveniently leaving out the much more tragic part of having to carry the bodies of your former comrades onto a carriage bound for the cemetery.
Fun fact, before the free trial became the expanded meme, this is the point where the old trial would end. Imagine seeing all Scions captured and then if you want to know more, buy the game.
