Will | FFXIV: Shadowbringers MSQ [19]

We’ve delved into the deep deeps that is the abandoned mine of Malikah’s Well, fighting through waves of miscellaneous beasts, creatures, Talos, and buckets. At the end of our destination, we’ve come across a severely light-blighted section of the mines, giving us a glimpse as to what the light has done to the rest of the planet. It is also here that we no longer fight any normal creature or malfunctioning automatons. Sin eaters are our only enemies here, and not only did they comprise of turned people and creatures, but also converted golems as well. To think there would be this many so far away from normal civilization brings one to wonder how many more could be lurking in the unseen reaches of the world…

At the end of the mines, we run into our Lightwarden: Storge; a unique being formed of a myriad of floating, hardened feathers for limbs, and a large medallion for a head. With such near-impossible levels of mobility and infinite flexibility, one would assume it to be more at home in the skies, yet here it is trapped in one of the deepest, most secluded places in the world. As per usual, we encounter the source of the blight, we defeat it, and then we absorb it to bring the night sky back to the people of Amh Araeng.

But it hurts.

  1. I really hope you continue this until the end of 5.3’s story. It’ll probably add about 7 episodes at the length you make these, but shadowbringer’s story actually ends there.

  2. At the beginning, when you’re talking to Y’shtola, if you were to pick “Yes, Mother” as the option she’ll be like “None of that, or I’ll take you over my knee.” So, in essence, she was ready to spank you.

With the /wringhands emote now released I can't help but laugh at the fact that if they hadn't shown his back in that scene, we'd be seeing him standing there with a big greedy grin on his face
