This poem is quite beautiful. It actually represents what happens to every generation. It's representative of an individual growing into adulthood and maturity. The story continues, but it will be different. Maybe in time a new iteration of the game.
They said FFXIV end walker will not be "ending" the story, but ending the tale of Eorzea and beginning a new chapter into something different, so probably new scions and friends and such.
If FFXI is still getting new content to this day, I think it's safe to assume that FFXIV will have a long, healthy life still to come.
Geezus you're worse than me in term of anxiety haha, don't worry Yoshi-P said multiple times that it's only the current story ARC that is ending and NOT FFXIV universe as a whole.
But I get it… Anxiety does that to you sometimes even though everything is there to calm your concerns.
Hello. Just wanted to say that after FFXIV launched on PC initially, I sorta just stopped playing and went back to WoW. I started WoW from day 1. Then eventually after WoD, I stopped playing WoW. After, I started playing different games and eventually started playing on my Playstation 3, 4, and 5. Anyways, I recently become more curious about FFXIV and finally started playing again several months ago and your videos have made it simpler for me to get back into it. I suppose I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to make about FFXIV. Keep it up.
I don't think making an new MMO is the play. This game is on the forefront of MMOs. It's not an older game that fell out of the public eye. It's raking in a ton of money and sees a large amount of daily users. My guess is simply the story of the characters we have known will end and a new journy into a new threat will begin.

I kinda hope it’s the end. After 6-8 years of playing the same game, same way of getting things. The exact same grind… it became rather repetitive and boring. I mean, when they come out with new updates, you have 3 months to grind the same two dungeons, and the same trials. And even longer for the 8 man raids and 24 man raids. Over and over and over and over again. I loved it for a long time but now I’m over it. It killed online games for me and now I’m back in single player mode and loving it.
ffxiv isnt going anywhere, it still looks shiny and new compared to most mmo's out there, i think they will continue to add to it, why replace something when its not broken
Will 6.0 end FFXIV's story, you ask. Well, my guess is that this is like MCU's Endgame. This might be the Scions' endgame. I bet our heroes will defeat Zenos (for real, this time), exterminate the last Ascians, and destroy Zordiark, once and for all.
