Why It’s TOO LATE To Play Final Fantasy 14 | FFXIV 700 Hours Review

Final Fantasy 14 Online is a pretty big MMO. With countless amounts of bosses, raids, dungeons, weapons, armour, classes etc… it can be quite daunting to jump into this giant mass of content, especially right now at the height of it’s popularity and at the end of it’s final expansion to the current storyline. So then… is it too late to jump into FFXIV?

  1. For those looking to jump into FF XIV, currently the game is not available due to the crazy influx of players. Sales will start again on 25/01/2022.

Hope you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.

  2. I will say, while your thesis of joining before an xpac is the best time (i joined before StB), UNIQUELY right now, 6.0 ends the main story arc we've had since 1.0, so if you can catch up with the story now, 6.1 will be brand new story content, and is a great starting point, to be here for the next decade of story telling.

  3. I just want to speak of the games story and the whole Heavensward: It gets better in that the story gets better put together and becomes less world focused and more character focused.

  4. I remember my friend getting annoyed with me befofe Endwalker's launch because i was still stuck at the start of Stormblood since i was doing relic weapons for ARR, HW and also i was way too busy with Gold Saucer minigames.

I have skipped quite many beast tribe quest and yellow side quests along the way since due to my addiction with grinding lvl's for different jobs, it gets really expensive to get gear for them that is is over lvl 70, if you only have access to lvl 60-70 gear from the normal shops

Oh and one last thing, this friend of mine have also conpleted every single side quest (yellow ones) in the game all the way to the end of shadowbringers and even he told me that there is A LOT of them but he also told me that some side quests even have bigger scale to them since they have their own mini stories with in-game cutscenes and you never saw anything like that in ARR content

  5. I agree the best time to get in is the final patch before the expansion. All the current expansion content will be out, and hype for the next expansion will just be starting.

But anytime is a good time to get started. Why? Because as a new player, there is a seemingly endless amount of content ahead of you. That could keep a player occupied for years before they finally run out.

  6. I would argue right now is the perfect time to start. we have a good while til 6.1 as well as the new savage raid tier wont be for another 6 monthish that is plenty of time (if you dont get distracted along the way) to do the story and even experience the raids in current content Not blind of course but it will get you ready for the next tier of savage and extremes where everyone will go in and have no clue how the fights will go. this keeps it fresh the worst time to join imo is towards the end of the expansion (6.5) as the fights are solved and you will feel left behind because everyone knows the fights already and you have to learn them. and ques are finally starting to die down so people can actually play the game more at their own convenience rather than the convenience of waiting in a que.

  7. Lol literally nothing brings me more joy than binge watching a show AFTER all the hype when everything is released and I don't have to wait.

Not only do I believe your theory is incorrect, I say waiting another 9 months to jump in would be ideal.
